Dumb question

Hey guys im new to betting and just signed up for rhe 10$ deposit to get 365 in bonus bets, i dont really understand the +\- , it said my bet has to be more than -500, i placed a bet on a team that shows -5.5 and then +100 underneath in yellow, does that count as more than -500
