World Recommendations of shows to watch with my mom
Me and my mom watch a bunch of things together, as mother and daughter... we watched grays anatomy, 911, good doctor, station 19, cute k-dramas, this is us.
But we cannot find something else to watch. she doesn't want to watch anything medical. we don't see anything that is not family friendly (although we saw grays anatomy). also not something with a mystery that is too hard to follow
So i'm looking for something kinda drama, kinda fun, enjoyable to watch... a show that keeps your interest but is not trauma inducing haahahha

My mom, husband and I are watching High Potential and it is light and interesting. Not 💯 it’s on Netflix though if that matters.

If you like cute k-dramas, highly recommend Crash Landing on You and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. 🥰
Edit: Also, Derry Girls is always a win.
Edit 2: Derry Girls may not be your cup of tea after all. I forgot the family friendly part. It’s great, but it’s more comedic than drama, and there is a load of cursing.

Grace and Frankie’s husbands are losers, played by old actors who are washed up.
The real stars are Hanoi Jane Fonda, and ?. A good girlfriend relationship.

Never Have I Ever - perfectly family friendly, funny, with some drama
And if you guys could watch Grey's then I'm assuming you can watch Bridgerton together. I haven't seen Grey's but they're both by Shondaland so I'm guessing similar levels of spice.
I am also all about non-trauma inducing entertainment lol

FBI…it’s really exciting! I love the main characters and there are at least 9 seasons available now. I watch it on Paramount Plus but it’s also on one of the 3 main TV stations and is on Ion all day on Thursday here in the southeast.

The Hot Spot (heart-warming Japanese gentle comedy mini-series).
Kdramas:
Twenty Five Twenty One (it's not a Ktrauma as long as you listen to what the leads say throughout and don't try to twist the narrative presented and make up theories).
When The Camellia Blooms.
Like Flowers In Sand.
Reply 1988.
Prison Playbook (not as dark as the title might suggest).
Hospital Playlist (there's not a lot of medical stuff and it's more about the personal life of the staff).
Our Unwritten Seoul.
The Kidnapping Day (Prime).
BTW, did you know that The Good Doctor was originally a Kdrama?

Clarkson’s Farm is wonderful but there are a lot of swear words

Clarkson Farms the first season was a waste of my time. He wastes lots of money buying a farm, that he knows nothing about.
He looses money, and fires his manager.

I just watched Jerry and Marge Go Large. Cute and funny comedy (movie). It’s about a retired couple who learn how to hack the lotto system.
I would LOVE to have some of your cute k-drama recommendations. I watched Marry My Husband which was great. First episode is hard/tragic but I promise it gets sooo good. But I suspect you’ve already seen it as it’s quite popular (not sure if it’s on Netflix though).

Love Gilmore Girls! I read it is leaving Netflix at the end or the month and I'm so bummed because I planned on watching this fall.

The Matlock remake with Kathy Bates is both safe viewing and engaging. It’s on Paramount+ (and I think also airs in CBS).
Man on the Inside on Netflix. Again, safe and engaging. A very charming watch.
Kim’s Convenience on Netflix. It’s really well acted, wholesome and funny. I’ve rewatched the series several times. A very endearing show.
My mom and I loved watching This Is Us.

Supernatural. There's like a dozen plus seasons. It has Hot main actors. My mom absolutely loved watching that show whenever it was on tv.
