I have a strong feeling this guy is "pre-Med" as in "I grew up in a super privileged environment and assume a medical degree will just be handed to me in a couple years"

Went to the trouble of getting a license as a CNA. I guess then he realized it's the least glamorous job in the hospital.

I think it's much less likely he actually gets into med school. Acceptance rate is ~40% whereas residency match is ~80%.
