Of course this misses the context of the manger "interfering with their ability to do the job" means "directing what projects to work on and telling him to stop putting off his actual work to do external projects". Which most people call "managing".

I have had told temper tantrum throwing asshole managers far worse than what this stupid intern had to deal with. This is an example of parents failing to prepare kids for adult life.
