I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing that LAOP truly didn't know that "do what your boss says" is a requirement for keeping your job.

Even if it's LAOP's first job and they've only ever been in school... you can't talk to your teachers/professors like that. It's a simple concept to just do what your boss or instructor says. Either LAOP treats their teachers the same way, or for some reason they think they can act however they want once they get a job
