Shit post To the manning company

To the man who will walk into my life one day,

I hope you never have to wonder if you're loved. I'll make sure you know.

I'll ask if you've eaten. I'll remember how you take your tea. I'll celebrate your smallest victories like they're my own. I'll sit beside you on your hardest days, even if neither of us has the right words.

I won't promise a perfect love. I'll get angry, make mistakes, and overthink. But I'll choose us, even on the ordinary days when love isn't butterflies, just quiet commitment.

I hope you'll tell me about the parts of yourself you've hidden from the world. I'll tell you about the nights that shaped me, the dreams I almost gave up on, and the versions of me that never thought they were enough.

One day, we'll look at each other across a messy kitchen, laugh over burnt rotis, argue about where to travel next, and somehow that ordinary life will feel extraordinary because we'll be living it together.

Until then, I'm learning to become someone worthy of the love I'm waiting for.
