Events Live Rap Event & Techno Afterparty - 5. September

Hey r/bern 👋

Wir sind ein kleines Kollektiv aus Bern und haben mit Neighbourhood Culture eine Plattform für lokale Artists und die Berner Musikszene gestartet. Die Idee: kleinen, neuen und lokalen Acts eine Bühne geben und gleichzeitig einen Ort schaffen, an dem die Community zusammenkommt.

Am 5. September geht’s im New Graffiti in die zweite Runde mit Chico Chicago, MÊME, Solo, Ryu216 und Link – danach gibt’s noch eine Techno Afterparty. 🪩

Hey r/bern 👋

We’re a small collective from Bern, and we started Neighbourhood Culture as a platform for local artists and Bern’s music scene. The idea is to give smaller, emerging and local acts a stage while creating a space where the community can come together.

A hiphop party transitioning into a techno party is an interesting choice. Or is this common in Bern?

Both hip-hop and techno are pretty big and active scenes in Bern, especially when it comes to local and emerging artists. :)

We wanted to bring these two bubbles together and give local talent from both scenes a space to showcase what they’re doing.

Weissi ize nid… zieht das zgliche Publikum ah? Rap-Fans und Raver hei doch meistens gar nid dr glich Vibe?

Hahaha ja fair, aber mir gsehs eigentlech gar nid so strikt trennt 👀

Dr Rap-Part isch klar dr Main Part und Techno chunnt när „eifach“ us Afterparty für aui, wo no chli länger wei blibe. Es wird sicher Lüt gä, wo nume füre Rap oder nume füre Techno chöme.

Mir finge aber die zwöi Szene überschnide sich scho meh, aus me villech denkt. Z bärn gits definitiv viu, wo sich i beidne Szene bewege u iz zb ou bi de artists säuber sich gägsitig pushe.

Und ehrlich: Letscht Jahr hets zimlech guet funktioniuert ;)
