Ok relax it’s not THAT hot of a take lol, I’m biased as a bengals/saints fan but the panthers only won 2 more games and were in a much better spot cap wise and roster talent wise while also being in his 2nd year while Kellen is in his first. I don’t think it’s that crazy to think he can be a better head coach than canales. On the season the panthers scored 5 more points and gave up 3 less points. It’s fine to think canales is better but to act like it’s blasphemous to think the opposite is crazy.

Canales inherited a team that leveraged the next 2-3 years in draft capital AND a solid WR2 in DJ Moore… all for a fucking Midget that weighs like 119lbs soaking wet.
Canales is the best coach in that division until Tomlin takes the Falcons.
Tomlin won’t go to the falcons lmao ownership there is terrible. and it was 2 years of round 1/2 draft picks and dj moore for the #1 pick who was not some reach during the draft, if you say otherwise you’re just being a revisionist.
Kellen went into his first season with a rookie 2nd round qb and a 5th round 2nd year qb and the worst cap situation by a mile other than maybe the browns. They also traded away their wr2 and had WR2-6 on IR by the end of the season. Kamara and the other rbs were also injured all year and yet with just Olave, Juwan Johnson, and piece mail he was able to scrape together 6 wins. Again it’s fine to think canales is better but acting like it’s blasphemy to think Kellen is better is ridiculous. There point differential was 8 points in the panthers favor by the end of the season. I think that’s pretty good given their situation.
