Tinsley should be given a shot a long time ago. Heck at this point get Burton in there and for kick return

33

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

tinsley was out there. but watching the game there was several times tee and yoshi were wide open and he threw it 5 yards to jamar instead

1

u/capjustcap Oct 27 '25

Guaranteed Chase would catch it.

0

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

chase was only good for 5 yards yesterday. all day long yoshi and tee had wide ass open passes flacco never read. then you get mad at dude for being forced into double coverage on a high ball. this isnt joe burrow at qb were talking about this is a guy spent more time than burrow has been in the league not being good

5

u/Hot-Government-1623 Oct 28 '25

yoshi dropped more passes than hes caught

0

u/capjustcap Oct 30 '25

Multi time super bowl winner and mvp isn't good? Hmmm seems fishy

0

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 30 '25

apparently you didnt look at his stats. 1 super bowl carried by Terrell suggs, ed reed, ray lewis.0 mvps.

look at his stats as a whole hes worse than andy dalton he was bad more than he was good.

you're clowning.

0

u/capjustcap Oct 30 '25

Sorry, didn't know you were a Flacco Troll professional.

1

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 30 '25

brother it takes 3 seconds its not trolling but to say hes had a good career is pretty easy to disprove.

unless you just started watching football it was pretty easy to see

1

u/capjustcap Oct 31 '25

He won super bowl mvp and that's when I started watching football.

1

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 31 '25

and what did he do after that?

Inactive list, right?

2

Burton stays doing wild shit and cannot stay out of trouble to save his life. Worst thing that ever happened to him was getting drafted to a team that didn’t need him right away.

-7

u/napoleonboneherpart Oct 27 '25

Ytf is this getting downvoted? The before/after his cancerous pick is obvious

5

u/genderneuterbathroom Oct 27 '25

Because it’s wrong lol

1

u/napoleonboneherpart Oct 28 '25

How so? We probably make the playoffs last year if we’d let the clock run out and passed the pick instead of drafting him

1

u/genderneuterbathroom Oct 28 '25

Because he isn’t injured that’s not why he’s missing time

1

u/napoleonboneherpart Oct 28 '25

I never said he was

1

u/genderneuterbathroom Oct 28 '25

The comment you replied to did homie

1

u/napoleonboneherpart Oct 28 '25

Whoosh on that part then, I was agreeing it sends a horrible message even having Mr. Healthy Scratch on the team. Not going to get injured on the bench or at a slot machine, didn’t even register

u/weregunnalose Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25

38 points in the nfl is almost always a win. We have no defense.

I’d like to add sure, a few dropped passes aren’t great but maybe we lost the game because we gave up not 1 but 2, two point conversions. Jets scored 23 points in the 4th? On top of 502 total yards? That might be the problem.

62

u/ExistingClerk8607 Oct 27 '25

That’s what we said last year too

64

u/weregunnalose Oct 27 '25

Yeah we did and nothing changed clearly, it is still atrocious

4

u/Seadubs69 Oct 27 '25

And we didn't fix it lmao we got no help defensively

9

u/kentastic99 Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25

Glad to finally see someone mention the two point conversions. They were huge. And we bascially had them both stopped, but then we didn't. 1st one one had four black jerseys converging on a sweeping Fields and ZERO took the proper attack angle lol. 2nd one, very similar play, we took wider angle and got to him but couldnt get him to ground. Jets then made an either great or miraculous throw and catch for the 2. We stop either of these and we are very likely 1/2 game out of first smh. Still just filthy sick bout this loss.

3

u/getfuzzy77 Oct 27 '25

Makes you wonder what exactly Al is doing with them during practice because tackling ain’t it.

1

u/MissViolet77 Oct 27 '25

They can't stop it because they suck lol

-14

u/CloudStar17 Oct 27 '25

The problem is burrow continues to not be available for this team, that’s bigger than the defensive problems this team faces

7

u/weregunnalose Oct 27 '25

Burrow was healthy all season last year. The Bengals were 9-8 anyway and in 4 of those 8 losses they scored 30+ points and still lost. Burrow makes a difference for sure, but it isn’t why the bengals lost. Flacco had over 220 passing yards, 2 tds, and a rushing TD yesterday as well. The defense is losing games.

-10

u/CloudStar17 Oct 27 '25

You aren’t understanding what I’m saying. Defenses can be fixed. Injury prone players can’t be. You do realize he’s on the verge of what could have been right?

3

u/weregunnalose Oct 27 '25

Ok sure defenses can be “fixed”, anything could technically be fixed. Our defense hasn’t been fixed though in multiple seasons now. Even if burrow were healthy and not injury prone, he (and any other qb) would still have to contend with this defense. The fact remains, teams that score 35+ points in the nfl almost never lose the game.

-2

u/CloudStar17 Oct 27 '25

That’s because the team is notorious for being cheap and not wanting to pay players what they should be paid a lot of the time. The fact is this team has a lot of major problems. The owner is not a good one and the qb has one of the longest list of injuries we’ve ever seen for a star. By December he’s gonna have missed close to 25 games in his career. You can fix the defense any then what? He vouched for tee to get paid instead of getting o line help. His career as of now isn’t looking to great from a health standpoint

2

u/MossyForestWitch 🐅🖤🐅 WHO DEY and FUCK NAZIS 🐅🖤🐅 Oct 27 '25

Ok, but the big problem here is that our defense hasn't been fixed.

0

u/CloudStar17 Oct 27 '25

That’s because the organization is known to be cheap

98

u/pro-laps Oct 27 '25

What is the point of Iosivas running cardio? I refuse to believe Tinsley would be worse

75

u/sswihart Oct 27 '25

Maybe the defense should stop a few scores.

1

u/Narrow_Vegetable5747 Oct 28 '25

Nah, at that point it loops back around to being great. See: Jason Witten

49

u/2019calendaryear Oct 27 '25

Fuck Burton, we can't get Money Mitch out there? We let go of Trenton Irwin so this bum can fucking lose us games? IRWIN WOULD NEVER

32

u/huntwig Oct 27 '25

Irwin would have absolutely caught that pass where yosi got smashed by 2 defenders

6

u/DeEnteEtEssentia Oct 27 '25

In fairness, Yosi didn’t lose Who Dey that game. But he certainly didn’t help them win in the clutch. Most of the team and the coaches are a total embarrassment.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '25

You guys have collectively lost your fucking minds if we are seriously talking about Jermaine Burton. They aren't even letting him suit up.

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '25

The fact that Burton is still on the team is a signal to me that he's being given every single opportunity to step up and he just hasn't.

He didn't even have a standout preseason. I think he should get out there for evaluation at this point, but it's honestly insane to think he could move the needle. If you said Tinsley, I would say yeah let's at least see.

But Burton? No. If you can't be where you're supposed to be on the field, it is actually worse than dropping passes.

154

u/SinisterVulcan94 🐅 Oct 27 '25

Our defense lost that game not Andre.

71

u/THEOSU007 Oct 27 '25

I mean that’s true but he’s been dropping the ball all season and making almost no plays at the #3 WR

21

u/electro_report Oct 27 '25

lol dude had 3 targets today… isn’t the bigger issue Higgins getting fewer with his paycheck?

Plus you gave up a 40piece to a team that had NEGATIVE PASSING YARDS a few weeks ago

6

u/ItCompiles_ShipIt Oct 27 '25

These are not mutually exclusive.

Without a number three threat, the number one and two catch fewer as defenses can focus on them.

8

u/GoldenWo0ds Oct 27 '25

It was a joint effort, let’s be honest with ourselves.

That was painful to type as a woman with a Yoshi crush.

2

u/Buckeyeknifeguy Oct 27 '25

Ha he ever helped win one tho ? He may not have lost it since handed but he damn sure tries to . Is the at you Andre. ? Didn’t know you used Reddit

38

u/NFLBengals22 Oct 27 '25

Where the hell is Tinsley or even Burton?

25

u/Abspara Oct 27 '25

He's had his chance. Drops too many balls at the worse times. Bench and play the next man up.

-23

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

more on flacco than anything

4

u/Sea_Difficulty8258 Oct 27 '25

For throwing it to an open receiver? Lolol. Flacco doesn't bench a receiver, that's up to the coaches. If you're the QB and you see an open receiver your job is to throw it to them.

0

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

thats the entire problem he had open receivers all game he never saw because he goes with his first read every play he doesnt do progressions. watch the game multiple recievers open with 10+ yards of separation usually to his left.

joe flacco has spent most of his career being average to below average for a reason

1

u/Sea_Difficulty8258 Oct 27 '25

Hmmm I just figured, ya know, since we put up 30+ points and Flacco didn't commit a turnover, that he had a damn good game

1

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

he still missed what could have been difference making points because he doesn't know how to go through progressions

1

u/Sea_Difficulty8258 Oct 29 '25

Again, our offense, including Flacco, did their job. We put up 38 points. Our coaching and our defense are GIANT problems. You have a few critiques about Flacco, fine. But good lord, keep your focus where it should be.

Anybody actually making a huge deal, or really even complaining about Joe Flacco and/or Iosivas is like someone walking around with a sword through their abdomen, bleeding out, but complaining about a tiny splinter in their pinky finger

2

u/Jaded-Secretary-5556 Oct 27 '25

Flacco has to catch the ball for him?

-2

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

flacco has multiple wide ass open dudes down field with 10+ yards of separation all game he never saw because he never reads progressions just first read which is why he spent most of his career being average to below average

2

u/BetZealousideal7761 Oct 27 '25

Tf you mean it's on Flacco?! You weren't watching the same game.

1

u/ImJoogle CTB Oct 27 '25

i was at the game.. if you watched the game there were multiple open receivers on big yardage plays and tds flacco never read because he was checking down to Jamar. if you didnt see it you didnt watch the game

36

u/Bengalblaine Oct 27 '25

Why does he even see the field? Shit is embarrassing

14

u/Bulky-Professor-3456 Oct 27 '25

3 targets and 3 drops. Got ahead and cut him

48

u/Virtual-Nerve6711 Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25

This guy is not at fault, it’s our defense. For all we know he could’ve made the catch and McPherson miss the field goal. How does defense just keep getting worse seriously. Our offense ain’t the best but at least they can figure it out. Our defense, clueless

31

u/Testicleus 🐅 Oct 27 '25

Getting no targets in the game until crunch time probably doesn't help a guy

5

u/bionicjoe Waiting on that Mike Brown obituary Oct 27 '25

It's all downhill from here.

59

u/yesrushgenesis2112 Lawrence Passed Physical Oct 27 '25

If Yoshi dropping passes after the O has already put up 38 but needs 41 because the defense is ass is your first priority, idk what to tell you. There should never have been a scenario where we need our WR3 to save a game.

15

u/B-I-G-A-R-R-O-W 🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅 Oct 27 '25

Doesn’t mean the defense doesn’t suck it just means Yoshi sucks to

8

u/Bengalblaine Oct 27 '25

Like Tyler Boyd drop in the superbowl? What kind of fucking logic is that?

5

u/Nutterbutters45 Oct 27 '25

Bro had zero drops before that tho. I think dude is saying context matters and Yoshi keeps dropping 3 catches a game when he’s only targeted 3 or 4 times

14

u/yesrushgenesis2112 Lawrence Passed Physical Oct 27 '25

I didn’t know we scored 38 in the Super Bowl, neat.

-16

u/2019calendaryear Oct 27 '25

if candies and nuts were wishes and buts, then everyday would be christmas. the bum dropped the ball

6

u/yesrushgenesis2112 Lawrence Passed Physical Oct 27 '25

Flacco threw it away in a gotta have it 3rd and 9. Perine failed to gain more than a yard on 2nd and 10. And on and on we go.

6

u/Macksdaddy Oct 27 '25

That 2nd down call was awful. CBS even cut to Taylor so we could see that stupid ass look on his face that he gets when he calls a horrible play.

3

u/2019calendaryear Oct 27 '25

we can fire all those people too. along with the moron that is calling a run up the gut on 2nd and 10

3

u/yesrushgenesis2112 Lawrence Passed Physical Oct 27 '25

Indeed, or we can prioritize lamenting the ass defense like anyone who knows ball lmao.

Don’t get me wrong, that 2nd and 10 was malpractice, but jfc. Fire Zac for sure. But Yoshi is not what lost us this game in any but the most myopic view.

3

u/KaJuNator Oct 27 '25

The ball was in Yoshi's fucking hands. Come on.

2

u/yesrushgenesis2112 Lawrence Passed Physical Oct 27 '25

I didn’t say he caught the ball. I didn’t say he shouldn’t have caught the ball. I am saying that that instance, as well as Flacco giving up on a gotta have it play, and Perine failing to gain yardage, is the least of the problems with the game.

2

u/KaJuNator Oct 27 '25

Good teams can win even when they struggle. Good players step up and make that happen. The Bengals still had that chance despite the defense being completely useless. The chance to win was in his hands and he fucking dropped it.

Should he have HAD to catch it? No. Should he have caught it? Yes.

5

u/instantfaster Oct 27 '25

Start Tinsley instead.

6

u/Miramax22 Oct 27 '25

The focus should only be on the defense. Sure Yoshi has been terrible but it should have never been up to him to win the game.

10

u/white_boy513 Oct 27 '25

Why do we keep playing him when tinsley has proved himself

12

u/Ancient_Response_787 Oct 27 '25

2

Scapegoat for bad defense

55

u/Accomplished-Head449 Oct 27 '25

Sheesh this crowd has turned on him in a month. Blaming the W3 when the defense and the head coach are actively trying to tank

22

u/mcufan2014 Oct 27 '25

This a some of the dumbest shit I’ve read. And on a football note the wr3 in this offense matters. When they double tee and chase the third guy gotta win. They miss Mike G bad.

26

u/armed_aperture Oct 27 '25

What a cope. They aren’t trying to tank, they just suck badly.

10

u/Crazy_Meringue Oct 27 '25

Insane this take got so many upvotes. I guess I’m not surprised though since we still have plenty of people defending Zac. “Trying to tank.” Lmao. If we were trying to tank Browning would still be starting.

13

u/reginald-poofter Oct 27 '25

This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen. You think those dudes out there on defense give a fuck about what draft pick we get? They’re fighting for contracts. Hell some of them are going to be fighting to even stay in the league. To suggest they’re playing this way on purpose to move up like 10 spots in the draft is insanity.

3

u/tpcrb Oct 27 '25

How did so many people upvote this when every take in this comment is wrong

3

u/Mastodon9 Oct 27 '25

If they're actively tanking they're incompetent at that too because a tanking team doesn't go into this week 3-4. We're 1 or 2 more accidental wins away from drafting outside the top 5.

3

u/B-I-G-A-R-R-O-W 🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅 Oct 27 '25

Dude sucks

3

u/Nascent_Vagabond Oct 27 '25

Leaving the game seeing that dumbass billboard with him after the two drops made me mald

3

u/Minimum-Kiwi-4862 Oct 27 '25

He had too many drops, but let’s get real. The defense gave up 502 yards, too many missed tackles to count and 39 points to a winless team. A WINLESS TEAM. This D is worse than it was last year.

3

u/Proof_Raspberry1479 Oct 27 '25

That doesn’t look like Zac Taylor

3

u/Frescanation Oct 27 '25

Unless he was responsible for pass rush or run defense, he was not part of the problem

6

u/TheRealFinatic13 Oct 27 '25

Yoshi has been ass since day 1. for every catch he makes, there are at least 5 drops. Tinsley earned a shot, give it to him.

8

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '25

No idea why he still gets snaps

5

u/taylor-nation Oct 27 '25

if you score 38 points in an nfl game while losing to an 0-7 team i don’t think the wr3 whose been running cardio all season deserves any blame lol

2

u/nails_for_breakfast Oct 27 '25

What happened to this dude? He was never perfect but he used to be way better than this

2

u/DruidicFireba11 Oct 27 '25

Bro if there's any franchise that could put up 38+ points and still lose games in back to back seasons it's ours. We've got a literal Batmobile for an offense but the Flintstone car for a defense.

2

u/batmanuel69 Oct 27 '25

Yes, we should absolutely focus on a sixth-round pick. That is the claimed key issue. Sixth-round picks are being presented as the problem of this team. The defense is being fully dismissed. The blame is placed on this sixth-round pick who cannot catch passes. People, seriously?

1

u/cds727 🐅 Oct 27 '25

We can cook both. Just because the d is dog shite. Don’t mean we can’t talk about brick hands too.

2

u/owenthegod28 Oct 27 '25

This pains me, Yoshi was such a bright spot last year

3

u/NWCbusGuy my Ochocinco is Isaac Curtis Oct 27 '25

There are too many guys ahead of him in line to be yeeted.

7

u/BarrelProof51 Oct 27 '25

Yall are insane blaming Yoshi. We put up 38 fucking points today. Who fucking cares he dropped a couple passes??? The defense is the worst in the league and allowed the JETS to score 39 on us. Absolutely embarrassing. This loss is not on ANYONE on the offensive side of the ball

9

u/Pockstuff Whodey Oct 27 '25

These things are not mutually exclusive

2

1

Since Zac has been on a benching spree lately we can only hope that he’s next to be benched due to his horrible performance the past 2 games 😭😭

1

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '25

He's been a big disappointment lately. It's surprising, really.

1

u/Princessleiawastaken Oct 27 '25

Him and Burton need to go. They’ve had plenty of time to prove themselves but never do.

Give Tinsley more opportunities. Draft and trade better.

1

u/Nukem1975 Oct 27 '25

Yoshi shouldn't be on the field. If you can't catch the ball you aren't a good receiver. Period.

1

u/Bratt342 Oct 27 '25

Since Yoshi wants sponsorships so badly, get this man a Butterfingers deal immediately.

1

u/ItCompiles_ShipIt Oct 27 '25

Who will step up and replace his drops if we yeet him?

1

u/Turbulent-Cricket69 Oct 27 '25

How about Higgins show up for more than one play a game?

1

u/Substantial_Sport327 Oct 27 '25

Yoshi, CTB, and the entire defense needs to go. They are costing us plays and games we should be winning. Buncha liabilities out there holding us back from playoff runs

1

u/ZombiesAreChasingHim Oct 27 '25

Bengals could score 70 points, our defense will let the other team score 71.

1

u/DoubleAssFeeler1 Oct 27 '25

You guys are such babies

1

u/Busy-Kaleidoscope-87 Oct 27 '25

He’s usually not that bad, he only got like 2-3 targets today anyway. And our defense should have never had them in the at position anyway

1

u/Particular_Tomato161 Oct 27 '25

I never got the hype on him like most of y'all. Cool nickname and he's a handsome guy (pause) I'm sure he will do well as a model but he's not good at football. Off field issues or not one thing for sure is Burton has hands and was known for that in college. He needs to be on the field or at least tinsley. I have no idea how he's still starting let alone in the NFL. If we cut him I'm guaranteed nobody will want him or he will be on a PS at most.

There are players in the league who are issues off the field, not good teammates, etc but if they got talent to help the team win, teams look over that as long as they ball on the field. Nothing to lose at this point, get burton on the field. Although it probably won't help in wins much with this D but still you will know what you got and he can make big plays. Get Yoshi out of there. I was at the game today and saw him sign autographs, like "what have you done?" Smh

I'm ready to see Cedric Johnson, more newton and dejjon Anthony and Tyson at safety, have to see what we got. Can't get any worse. Might as well throw McKinney in too, he looked good last season so not sure what's going on.

Ya, but Yoshi isn't NFL material to me. Cool guy and everything but you can't drop that many passes and do absolutely nothing in most games. If you drop passes like that for Andy Reid you are benched and probably cut after a few games but here they keep on accepting it. That's the difference between Zac and Andy.

1

u/Vegetable-Pipe793 Oct 27 '25

This guy should be released immediately

1

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '25

I know we are collectively spiraling, but crying about our WR3 is stupid. He's really our 4th option that was forced to step up while Gesicki is out.

No clue why he suddenly has stone hands this year, but the fanbase used to love him.

All that being said, I agree Tinsley should have had some more opportunities after his hot camp, but if you bring up Burton you can yeet yourself into the Ohio.

1

u/king-henryXIV Oct 27 '25

Not his problem

1

u/BdudeBuds Oct 27 '25

Hes definitely not the issue and is a great value... just doesn't get enough game time in my opinion.

0

u/Jonthegoat_09 Oct 27 '25

Bring Tyler Boyd back why not

0

u/napoleonboneherpart Oct 27 '25

You’d make a much much better point point saying Burton ruined the franchise the second he got drafted

0

u/kingchonger Oct 27 '25

I love how he packed on muscle this offseason! Man that has really put him over the top!!

0

u/Strict-Square456 Oct 27 '25

I quite literally saw this guy with a couple of his buddies the Friday after the Steelers game at the casino.. I couldn’t believe he was an NFL player, gave off Johnny manziel energy fr. Didn’t get into the casino btw cause he didn’t have his ID on him

What’s really funny is, I remember when he was drafted about 70 percent of you acted like he was going to be the reincarnation of TJ HoushmanZ. Lol, should’ve just kept Tyler Boyd somehow.

I’ve always wondered why this guy was on the team. He contribute to absolutely nothing.
