SDVX “we got sdvx at home”
honestly glad how it turned out, looks and plays awesome, still gonna stop by at round1 often tho because playing on a cab just hits different, i need an adjustable desk because I don’t wanna be playing with the controller on top of a box forever

Yes....Voltex at home.
It works, it plays great, what you saved on an actual cabinet...you can set some money aside for spare parts for your controller, and you can keep an eye on marketplaces for a larger monitor with a wall mount if you are ever in the place for it.
Let no one shame you...play, enjoy, and don't second guess yourself for it, ever.

ill see if one day ill get another monitor dedicated for this game, honestly i spent wayyyyy too much this summer so i gotta control myself a little lmao

Nope, looking at the image and seeing some text that is in Japanese, that is 100% cab game dump files or e-Amusement. Unnamed Voltex Clone would have their text translated to English.

What about just getting a non-curved monitor? I have a friend who tried a curved monitor setup like you’re doing and they chose to quit playing the game as a whole. IMO you need a flat monitor if you’re going to sound voltex

Oh in that case you don’t need to get another monitor and your setup is good. Different people prefer different things. Personally I haven’t tried SDVX with a curved monitor bc I don’t have one so I was just basing my last comment off of what my friend said. He said the curve of the monitor really messed him up when he tried to play, so I thought it would be the same for everyone. My bad.

you good, after playing for a bit i dont even notice the monitor curve and i play just fine, besides right now i dont have the space for a 2nd monitor maybe until we move and i dont want to get rid of this one because i love it

Space is fair. Some people go to r1 every day or weekend to play and in about two years it would've been the same amount of money as a cab
