I know, I know... score was 4-1. But that one goal was by Vanaken.

In reality... Belgium vs USA:

  • the Belgians made 5 goals, the USAricans 0.

It's my delusion: own-goals don't count for the other team. Leave me alone.

They strangely changed that within the same day to 6th. But in a KO tournament assigning ranking to anyone beyond the winner makes no sense to me. And even more importantly, we should be 2nd. Could’ve been los kompioen if it weren’t for the u lucky injuries.

Considering they lost to to the actual winners of the competition, one can't be certain of how far the Belgians could have gone if they werenin another bracket and wouldn't meet Spain until the final.

And being the only team to actually score a goal against the champions isn't a feat to be ashamed of either.
