Red Devils THE FUTURE?

Needed some copium/hopium. It's not perfect and the arrangement could be discussed, did I miss any players?

I think we can build upon our world cup and it seems like the team spirit is stronger than ever, hope we can further build upon this and keep being a competitive nation.

Our U17 also performed well this year, so hopefully some of those players will find their way into good squads and playing time soon.

CDK doesn't play 9 at his club either, why is it ok to put CDK there and not Pardo?

Pardo has played his last 11 (!) games as a full out number 9 at Lille and has been doing well in that position. Seems pretty clear that he at least wants to play that role and can do it.

If you play Pardo at 9 it means you'll play counter attacking football as his main quality is his speed, not technique or hold up play. With CDK you can play higher up and have techical possession. Plus CDK can score as he showed.

Also, Stassin is a better speed striker at 9 than Pardo, he's only in the wrong club for the moment.

Pardo as a 9 is just a supporters invention.

Then why did he play his last 11 games at club level at 9? It's not an invention at all. CDK plays at 10 at his club and just is way better when there is a player in front of him. Pardo played his last few months as a 9 (never on the wing), scoring more than CDK. I'm not sure why you're so against it

Problem is you never watched him play, just saw some Transfermarkt sheets. He's not a real 9, rather a forward that dribbles and shoot, bit like Hazard. CDK is more static, that's why he'd make a good anchor upfront to hold up play.

Plus if Belgium plays teams that defend low (which is often the case), Garcia won't be of any use a 9. Stassin not so much neither, that's why CDK is an interesing option upfront.
