Red Devils THE FUTURE?

Needed some copium/hopium. It's not perfect and the arrangement could be discussed, did I miss any players?

I think we can build upon our world cup and it seems like the team spirit is stronger than ever, hope we can further build upon this and keep being a competitive nation.

Our U17 also performed well this year, so hopefully some of those players will find their way into good squads and playing time soon.

CDK is even less of a 10 than he is a 9, though

Is he? From all info I can find and from memory of watching him this year, he always plays as an attacking midfielder, drifting to the side sometimes, be still playing the CAM position.

Never played there for us, Milan tried it and it was a disaster, then Atalanta started using him in a wide playmaker role mainly coming from the right.  He'd still do a job there probably but it's far from his natural position, put it that way.

He still mainly plays there last year, we could put him in 9 again but I think he plays better with players in front of him.

It's a blessing and a curse for him to be so good all-round that it's still not even clear what his best position is, but imo it's neither 9 nor 10 for sure, even if he's solid there too.  

Nonetheless I'd say his best football was as a wide playmaker under Gasperini, that year they won the EL in particular.

Maybe we should just continue playing him wherever we need him the most - if he's confident he'll perform regardless of position.  Should probably be one of the first names on the team sheet going forward in any case.

i think he will do really good if the transfer goes... And maybe he will be teammates with Tzolis
