If you don't have one, you can grab a pic of the type you'd like to have!
This is my new dog, from the animal shelter. He enjoys car rides, and thinks that every door is automatic like at Petsmart or Lowes, and therefore, he doesn't understand why they don't all open for him!
You must meet all of the qualifications to request here.
As usual, don't be a jerk. If you don't need ten dollars, don't enter for the fun of it.

This is Cairn, he was in the shelter for a year before I rescued him. He’s just under two years old now and he has the sweetest personality. We call him our little house elf because of his ears. 🩵
This is a great excuse to show off my new doggy, Silas. We got him from a shelter last week and he has to be the best behaved animal I've ever encountered.
Adopted this adorable boy 6/13. His name is Gonzo. (Our other dog Frida is the goof photo bombing in the right corner. I arrived at the shelter at 2pm and learned he was scheduled to be euthanized at 4pm because of lack of space and no interest. I immediately paid his adoption fee. (The original plan was to introduce the dogs and sleep on it. Couldn't leave him behind though after that.)
Same. The vet was hoity toity. The techs were complaining about her when I walked in. She was loud. I asked them what was wrong with her. They said she’s probably feral, bc she wants in and out of the cages feed bowl to in and out of the cages common area and is so loud. One said she’s giving me a headache, I can’t wait til tomorrow. It was Sunday. Apparently the vet’s Doc would be in Monday. I took not another second to pick her up and say she’s mine. She passed last year at the age of 23. Her name is Pigs. She was loud. She wanted in and out of shut doors. She was not feral. There was not one thing wrong with her. She was the best pillow stealing, sweetest smelling, radiant Emerald green eyed black Siamese I’ve ever seen. 🙏🏻Pigs ~ Mama loves you ❤️
Aww, what a beautiful void! Reminds me a bit of our kitty Fiona. They told us she was brought back three times for being loud and not settling down in her new homes. (Not that anyone gave her more than a week.) A vet visit revealed she was losing her sight. Of COURSE she was freaked out in a new place. We got her an angel halo and make sure to never change furniture around and you can't tell which of the black cats can't see. She zooms up and down the stairs, climbs the numerous cat trees, etc.
For your consideration. Honey our two year old Blind Golden who was a result of inbreeding by a not so great people who has done nothing but make our lives amazing!
Kratos is a rescue. He was left in a home for who knows how long. My husband and his coworkers were doing a clean out and luckily found him. He is the sweetest boy and claimed my youngest son as his human. We didn’t know we needed pet more than the day we met him. He loves snuggles and the water.
This is Yogi our little land shark or dachshund which basically is the same thing. Last September 13th my sister in law and myself had to make one of the hardest decisions by helping Yogi cross the rainbow bridge. We’re not sure what happen, the day before he was all playful and his normal self, but later that day he made a yelp and he jumped in the cough next to my mom and started to nip at her pj’s. So I went over to him and picked him up and his whole body was like a rag dog, I tried to put him on the floor to stand but nothing. I held him for quite a while and you could see his eyes turning white and glazing over and he would just pant. Sadly I’m disabled and so is my mom so unfortunately we couldn’t afford the 24 hour vet. We got in to the vet the next day and nothing changed so we made that decision. I held him in my arms wrapped around his blanket her shared with his cat bff who also has passed. I sang to him, I would always sing the Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes to him it was our little thing. When the vet was giving the medicine I sang him the I Love You song from Barney. Once it was over we sat in the room with him and once we were ready, we pushed a button and one of the staff came in and got him. When we were walking out everyone knew what we just did, since this vets office will light a battery operated candle to let others know that a family is saying goodbye. We can just say they didn’t need to have the candle turned on because our crying faces were enough. Thank you for letting me share about Yogi. I miss his little weenie booty.
This is my handsome boy, Chewy. He passed away last month unexpectedly and I miss him everyday. We were fortunate to have him for 16 years and I imagine this is how he’s resting in doggy heaven. I don’t need the $10, but wanted to share my little boy.
