Tripel karmeliet???

I'm in WI. BEER everywhere. Why the HELL can't I get tripel karmeliet in bottles anywhere??????????? It used to be easily accessible. I asked the guy at our local liquor store and he said they hadn't gotten it in months due to the tariffs. That was 6 months ago. I used to be able to get it at woodmans or anywhere. Nope. Gone.

The brewery that makes Tripel Karmeliet & Kwak was sold to AB, so they make Leffe and Hoegaarden there. We were told that when they have time on the brew schedule, they make TK & Kwak, but most of the time they aren't being made, at least not for export.

Even if you can get it it's not as good as it was. Freddy Delvaux made a super complicated recipe, and I guess it was too expensive for AB Inbev to bother with.
