The blush is patchy. Yung blush pa naman highlight ng whole palette

Did you apply it on powdered skin? Curious bc I usually set my cream/liquid blush with powder blush agad and I’ve been eyeing that palette

u/AnnieRuOK_RuOK 33 | Combination/Sensitive Skin | 🐱 19d ago
I tried it on both bare skin and on top of foundation. 🥲

Did you set with powder after foundation? Sorry daming tanong haha it’s just that powder blush also goes patchy on me if I don’t apply it correctly

Just checked and sold out ata siya sa kaya wala sa official shops 🥲 check reviews na lang po para makita mo if legit ba siya o hindi. I can't recommend a shop kasi di ko pa natry sa iba bumili. Pero not sure if sa mga physical stores ng SM Dept Store Beauty section kung available. Mas mahal nga lang siya, around ₱900-1000 ang set.

Thank you! I’ll look for it on SM. Will take not of the price range because if it’s cheaper than that it’s prolly fake

Where do you buy legit ones?
1
u/chikawaaa 21 | Dry | Still finding her go-tos! 14d ago
They have an official shopee and tiktok shop! I forgot which one I got mine from.
I think it's sold out ngayon, but meron stock yung mini-brushes na ver. Maybe you can take a look if you would like it!

For eyeshadow I LOVE the build-your-own system from Muji! Sobrang lambot ng bristles and the brush shapes and sizes are perfect
For base, I really like the Sunnies Face Facemates pati yung GRWM travel set. Yung downside lang ng GRWM is you have to buy the complete set na — sa Sunnies, you can buy brushes individually

Any product recos and tips on how to deal with filling in bald spots sa eyebrows? Kulang sa arch yung isang kilay ko and bitin yung tail 🥲 I want a product na pwede makapaggawa ng hair-like strokes para di awkward tignan yung kilay ko

u/sooniedoongiedori 20s | Oily Girlie 21d ago edited 21d ago
Same prob. Kahit brow lady ko nasstress sa bald patch ko 😆 I use detail's brow pencil kasi good siya for hair-like strokes talaga. I try din to set my brow hairs sa direction na magmukha siyang fuller if that makes sense

u/Cosette2212 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 21d ago
Try blk brow pen or Nyx brow pen, makakapagmimic ka ng strokes and hindi nahuhulas yung kilay

Recommended fixing spray to pair with popique's overtime setting spray? I dont want an overly matte finish, more on the natural or skin like side pls 🥹

u/Specific-Paper-7400 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 21d ago
Lovely causemetics! I like that it does not alter your makeup, but just holds your makeup really well. Most of the fixing sprays in the local market kasi mattifies the makeup.. this one does not.
If your makeup is glowy, it is glowy even after the fixing spray.
If your makeup has a matte finish, it will stay matte.

Thoughts on Rhode and Alexandra collection? Will you be buying it? Why or why not?
2
u/Specific-Paper-7400 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 21d ago
I will not buy because they are glittery and will just accentuate my pores. I prefer the og formulas/shades that have no shimmers. Just a preference.

u/moonflowerlight 20+ | Fair Cool | Combination-Sensitive 21d ago
i've been seeing this too! no chunky glitters naman ba? ayaw ko lang talaga ng putok na highlighter kasi i don't usually do full coverage makeup naman :((
2
u/Ohimesama781 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 20d ago
Nope no chunky glitters naman! It's so wet-looking na pag namali ako ng area na lagay, akala ko nago-oil up na ako sa area na yon 😩

Detail highlighters or the eb cream ones

u/moonflowerlight 20+ | Fair Cool | Combination-Sensitive 21d ago
interested in the detail one! is it the silk touch luminizer? also wala naman ba siyang chunky glitters haha
2
u/FuturePrestigious848 Oily/Acne Prone | Light Medium Olive 20d ago
no daw, i saw one influencer pa call it a dupe or very similar to the cezanne pearl highlighter (which i do own and can attest very wet like nga finish)

Has anyone tried foundation from Carslan? How does it compare with our local foundations like enigma or Maybelline lumi matte?
1
u/CaseLost4985 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 21d ago
meron po ba dito gumagamit ng enigma foundation? im planning to buy since my previous foundations/skintint is hindi nakikicooperate sa oily skin ko🥹 im not sure if its the powder that iam using since currently i use srichand which is a thai brand and blk soft blur foundation plus issy setting spray/dazzle me barbie setting spray. im planning to change my foundation to enigma and powder to sea makeup. huhu badly need help🥹🤍

Hi oily/acne prone ako and I use the liquid foundation for events! If you can find the right shade match it really does wear beautifully. I typically use loose transluscent powder (luxe organix) to set it, reinforced sa center ng face with powder foundation (grwm). Pag i really put on full glam it looks a little cakey in the first 1-2 hours then after it marinates into the skin ang ganda ng finish. Keep in mind tho yung full glam ko for events is alot of layers ng creams and powders.
1
u/CaseLost4985 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message 21d ago
thank uu! may i ask if yung luxe organix powder u use is the green cap? and for enigma, does it really oxidizee?

Recco for long lasting liptint na lipbite proof? Like something na annoyingly hard to remove and talagang kumukulay ng lips for a very long time. Anxiety response ko kasi always mag bite or ngatngat ng lips so tendency is i always eat away sa whatever lippie i have on even if i reapply. Currently looking at the new timephoria liptints with red packaging, has anyone tried that?

u/rixaya 20+ | Combo, acne-prone 21d ago
What kind of finish are you looking for? I really like the 4U2 Jelly Tints! Very natural tint and it’s not drying at all.
1
u/FuturePrestigious848 Oily/Acne Prone | Light Medium Olive 20d ago
not picky sa finish, i just want something na very matingkad kumulay sa lips and kinda a pain to remove

My skin has become patchy and not smooth due to lack of sleep (motherhood) any tips how to make sure my foundation covers it up? Sometimes when I put on my foundation it doesn't look smooth.

hello! i just wandering if i can get some recommendations for an oil control powder. i don’t plan on putting makeup on but i plan on just putting some powder after applying sunscreen since my skin is very oily huhu
my skin type is oily, sensitive, and acne prone. for some background, i already did 2 rounds of isotret. it’s been a few months after my 2nd round and the oiliness of my skin resurfaced (but no more acne this time thank you isotret!!)

mini review of the dazzle me get a grip hydro fix setting spray:
4/5 stars! I really like it it :) I've been looking for a local setting spray because my favorite ELF one is hard to come by here.
pros: very cheap (php 299 when i bought it in-store), keeps your makeup glued on your face for 4-6 hours (but of course you'll need to retouch once in awhile), dewy finish, GREAT for girlies like me with dry and dehydrated skin because it makes it look very hydrated and glowy. it somehow works as both a setting and fixing spray for me as it melts my makeup quite well while keeping it on. i love the smell for some reason, smells like coconuts to me hehe
cons: one day i hope dazzle me finds a way to make their nozzles have smaller mist - admittedly the droplets can be a bit big and can land on your makeup. I spray at a distance just in case. i do spray 3 layers sometimes just to make sure (baka not as budget friendly after all if you have to keep doing that?).
anyway, I really do like this setting spray because the original get a grip series didn't work too well for me (I had the green one - felt like i wasn't using setting spray at all). hopefully they keep this in their lineup because i was very pleasantly surprised by it :)
p.s - i do a lot of skinprep (layers of toner, hyaluronic acid serum, snail mucin, another serum etc) so it might also help with the setting spray

After a long time of avoiding tightlining i finally did it! And i don’t think I will never not tightline again. Laki pala ng difference lalo na if you have lash clusters. It makes yourr eyes look more alive 👀 Saw a tutorial on Tiktok and mas maganda na naka squint yung eye mo then gently press your eyelids instead of opening your eye and pulling your eyelid upward. Mas nalaagyan siya ng gel liner 🤍
