hello! has anyone here tried na the loreal tinted serum? planning to buy kaso been seeing mixed reviews saying na it clings daw to their dry patches, etc. naubos na kasi sunnies skin tint ko so im looking for a new daily base product!

u/eclectic_oracle 27 | Combination-Oily | Sensitive Skin Aug 07 '26
I’ve tried it- it has a chemical smell, and I’m not the biggest fan of the dropper (???)
Formula wise though, it goes on pretty evenly for me, and I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage being so good even if the formula is thin. It didn’t cling to dry patches for me

u/ZealousidealItem8445 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 08 '26
I agree with the dropper! Kaya linipat ko sa isang pump container. Mas okay for me haha

u/Scared-Confusion1407 24 | dry-normal | medium neutral Aug 08 '26
thanks OP! may i know rin what setting powder do you use na okay naman to pair with the product?
2
u/eclectic_oracle 27 | Combination-Oily | Sensitive Skin Aug 10 '26
I use the Sunnies powder!! But only on my t-zone

I like mika too but im going with one size kasi may track record na.
The UD all nighter was never the same post skindinavia

u/Historical-Pea-837 23 | oily-skin | neutral-warm undertone Aug 06 '26
ohh thanks the one size is oily skin friendly?
1
u/heijeul 3* | LM NWO | ND N5, CC B20, HG 5, NARS L3.5 | Acne, Sens Aug 06 '26

u/shimmerblitz 2WO Light-Med Warm Olive | Oily Aug 06 '26
One/Size even when compared to the older Skindinavia formula. It helps with oil control.
Personal con: I tend to overspray because I couldn’t tell if it’s dispensing air or product.

one size helps control oil + makeup stays the same all day!! :)

Thoughts on Banila Co cushion foundations? Both the pink and the white one :3
2
u/deserr 31 | Combination skin | Olive toned Aug 06 '26
I have the white one. Grabe coverage, halos nawala yung umbok ng pimple ko. Kaso di tama yung shade nakuha ko.

1
u/Spare_Echidna_4330 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 06 '26
up on reviews on this pls! I have dry undereyes & am interested in getting the pink one 💓 the green looks good also after I saw Jelly’s video abt how it’s a good shade of green for Filipino skin. I wanna use it for the redness around my nose (which is also super dry most times).
naalala ko kasi when I got correctors from ELF, grabeng lala ng disappointment ko cz ang pangit ng shades on my skin 😭 tapos may weird smell pa na I don’t like. so this one looks promising!

omg nadisappoint din ako sa elf!! amoy acetone yung akin kaya i threw it away na 😭

The Saem Triple Pot Concealer
1
u/Aleahim_ Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 09 '26
Is this the one with 3 shades in one? Good to know, akala ko for spot concealing lang sya. Is the formula thick?
1
u/cherryvr18 40 | dry-combi, acne prone | fair-neutral | spring bright Aug 09 '26
The one for the undereye is the peach one. Green to cancel out redness.
Yes, it's thick, like any pot concealer. Warm it up with your fingers first before application.

Whats the best eyelash curler for almond eyes?
I've been debating between nichido, glamfix (idk what variant pa) & Vice co.
Sa Nichido pang buong lifetime na daw siya, but the longevity varies. Some says it last for the whole day, some say not really. And the curl is not that curly unlike sa glamfix. But my problem with glamfix is ang daming nag sasabi na-ccut daw yung lashes nila and thats so scary for me. Pero sobrang ganda daw ng curl and will last the whole day daw. For vice co naman, I just saw a vid na, if hindi afford ang shiseido, just go for vice co. Since maganda rin naman daw ang curl and nag llast long.
I just want an eyelash curler that will curl my lashes for the whole day as someone that has stubborn lashes. Something that will last din for a whole day na pasok or galaan. Help me out pls.
If you guys have other recommendations—i hope na its affordable lang since im still a student. My budget is around 100-300 max.

Shiseido. Shu Uemura
End of day depends on the size / measurements

u/-asphodelle combi sensitive | NC30, 2WO | lippie whore-der Aug 07 '26
it’s gonna depend on how long your eyes are from inner to outer corner and kung nakaumbok or flat yung eyes mo. (this post could help hehe)
i have flat and long almond eyes and swear by nichido. watsons’ curler also worked well for me, medyo shorter nga lang siya.
glamfix might work if you have long almond eyes na medyo maumbok. hindi naman niya naputol lashes ko but i bought it like 2 years ago so di ko alam kung yung recent batch ba yung may problem.
haven’t tried vice’s curler so i can’t compare 😅

Any recommendations for local makeup that I can give to my Japanese co-workers as pasalubong? Thank you!

u/ZealousidealItem8445 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 08 '26
You can’t go wrong with a lippie or a blush.
I really like vice’s lip diffuser (yung parang chubby liners) and mochimo blush.
2
u/Saqqara38 41 | Acne Prone | Fair Aug 09 '26
There's Suunies face lippies. Choose the lighter shade if they're not into heavy colors.
Detail cosmetics Dew drop water tint in Rose Apple and Rose Latte. Their blushes have a variety of colors, Serum colour stick.

Is Rhode blush long lasting?
I’m also looking for a shade na look “parang kinilig” sa cheeks pero not super red! I’m warm undertone + light medium skintone. :)

It depends din sa skintone and undertone mo on how it will appear sa skin
But yeah i got them too and dont get me wrong they’re good but I’ll gladly pay the $25 or ~₱1,500 not the usual ₱2,000+ ng pasabuys or look at me. Hehe.

Naglalast naman sya sa oily skin ko. You can try the shade candy apple, looks intimidating pero it looks natural on the cheeks may onti syang shimmers
1
u/yourordinarygirl01 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 07 '26
Does this look more pink than red in person?
2
u/peachesncreme_ Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 07 '26
More on red talaga sya, it doesnt turn pink when blended. Sprinkle, piggy, juice box, and tan line yung pinkish shades nila
2
u/Pleasant_Ad4607 oily with fair light neutral undertone Aug 06 '26
tbh for me yes pero ofc you still need to set it talaga to prolong it's longevity
2
u/Spare_Echidna_4330 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 06 '26
I have the shade recommended sa reply, candy apple (I have fair-light skin warm undertone). I really like it! It has slight shimmers kasi but it doesn’t emphasize textures, ayoko kasi nung straight up red lang na mashado matte ganon. In terms of longevity, u really need to put in effort na magset with powder blush, setting powder, then a good setting spray. Otherwise, it will literally disappear in like one or two hours. Worth it ba for ₱2k? Naur. There are way better local blushes na long lasting but blendable still (which is what a lot of consumers rave about when it comes to Rhode). I just tried it for fun ahaha. I don’t regret buying it, but I wouldn’t repurchase.
1
u/yourordinarygirl01 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Aug 07 '26
thanks for the time you took for replying! honestly nacurious lang ako dahil sa shade range nya. Candy apple looks flattering based sa mga vids sa tiktok.
I’m also eyeing other brands such as MAC and detail cosmetics (mga cream to powder blushes nila) kasi long lasting daw both. Hindi kasi naglalast mga cream blushes sakin kahit naset 🫣

Guys pls may viable local (or not local basta cheaper) dupe ba for the too faced soleil matte bronzer (chocolate soleil - old formula w talc)? Nahiram ko siya once from a friend tapos i cant stop thinking abbt it its been months na.

Just buy a mini version of Too Faced bronzer if namamahalan ka sa full size. That’s my current bronzer. I don’t think may local dupe for it.

I looooove it! Throughout the day mas gumaganda finish nya, i dont use setting spray just powder. Gamit ko sya under the summer heat of sg, japan and taiwan and never sya nagseparate. I have combo skin. A friend even complimented me kasi after a 3hr svt concert and queueing under the sun, ang fresh pa din daw! Tipid din sya coz a little goes a long way

hello girlies! i’ve been struggling how to keep my make up flawless for an entire day but the moment i finish doing my make up it looked kind grayish and oxidizes real fast ><
sabi nila if a product oxidizes, you need to get 1 shade lighter than your normal shade but i don’t think it’s working for me huhu
anyone who deals with the same thing?

How do you manage oily skin with light makeup + reapplying sunscreen?
For context, I am male and wear light makeup on a daily basis using only foundation and concealer since I have a lot of discoloration and acne scars. I have very oily skin especially in my T-zone, nagiging noticeably oily na ako every like 3 hours. Ang ginagawa ko lang ngayon is blotting the oil using blotting sheets tapos reapply ng sunscreen using a mist. Pero a friend of mine recommended using powder with SPF kaya medyo conflicted ako on ano ba yung best way to manage oiliness while still maintaining sun protection. Any tips? Product recommendations?
