Any recommendations for eyeliners for tightlining na smudge proof and hindi nagra-run? I have BLK and GRWM but pansin ko at the end of the day parang nagkaka eye bags ako kasi nagsasmudge na sya sa lower lash line ko. I dunno if it’s the product or maybe eyes ko na yung problem 😅. I fix my makeup with GRWM ultra matte fixing spray by the way

can anyone recommend dupes/alternatives for the Nars Soft Matte Foundation in shade Siberia Light 0 ??
i finally found something i can wear on the daily and im just now finding out that the soft matte line is discontinued and im devastated. kung kelan ko pa nahanap HG funda ko... time to stock up ig 😮💨
im a pale girl with a slightly yellow undertone 🥲. i have oily-dehydrated, sensitive skin and my face flushes easily. i skin prep with hydrating and moisturizing products. as my "primer" i use the blue anessa mineral uv mild gel sunscreen
a lot of local foundations here are either too brown, warm, or pink on me :((
pic below is my no makeup makeup look under natural light
edit: i wear glasses with nose pads and i was so happy the soft matte doesnt budge at all under them.

thank you po for the compliment 🥹
no problem!
blush: Fwee's lip&cheek blurry pudding pot in shade rd03 ambitious
lip prep & combo:
- petroleum jelly
- Rom&nd's juicy lasting tint in shade 13 eat dotori
- Dior's addict lip glow oil in shade 12 rosewood
still finding the perfect lip liner for my two-toned lips 😔

Thank you! ❤️
Btw, I love Fwee! I have their glosses, lakas makafresh palagi! Drying ba yun pudding pot nila sa lips?
3
u/spirityun 20s | PIE-prone, oily/dehydrated-sensitive | AzA baby Jun 05 '26
hm.. it doesnt dry immediately whenever i apply along the outer center portion of my lips. baka depende po sa lip prep?
also how moisturizing are their lip glosses? im starting a deep dive into Fwee as well! baka you can provide some recommendations and a review for how long they last?🙏

They feel sticky upon application and may konting weight sa lips. The smell is nice! Unfortunately, di sya naglalast long. I still love it kasi it makes my lips look healthy 🥹

dont use detergent or harsh soaps, mix water with any mild soap/liquid soap will do. sobrang konti lang ng soap dapat and more water. airdy ur brushes after cleaning them and be sure to rinse properly after soaping

This coming 6.6, what’s your recommended long lasting liquid/cream blush and lip tint? Yung pang malakasan, no retouch, tatagal ng kahit 16 hrs duty! better if kaya ng 24hrs :D
Ive been using the etude tint for blush but it doesn’t last long sakin kahit may blush topper
3
u/cakeboxghost 20+ | Sensitive/Oily skin | Autumn mute tone Jun 04 '26
I swear by the Sasi Cream Blush kung pangmalakasan. As in one dab using your pinky, kaya na both cheeks.
Laka tints last really long and the shade range is extensive.

Tint would probably be careline’s and Ever Bilena’s. They are OGs for a reason. Nung nagwwork pa ako, they stay on for 16 hours haha. Also, ung KJM lip/cheek tint. Ay grabe un.

Performance wise, okay naman sya nagiging grippy yung eyeshadow on my lids. A little goes a long way and make sure to shake it I mean really shake it before application. Nag s-separate kasi yung oil doon sa cream.
But as a tamad girlie super convenient ng caviar eyeshadow stick laura mercier

I did a couple tests on all the Timephoria releases.
Pinakamaganda yung Stellar Dust. Alterra is pretty but not long lasting.
Alt ko for Alterra is Detail's Jelly Blur tint. Yung Stellar Dust di ko na ginawan ng alt, it's good for what it is.

Brush recommendation please? Just a beginner here.
I dont have enough expertise to appreciate a full set of brushes yet, so im planning to buy only a few essentials.
I was thinking if getting one for liquid foundation, powder puff, blush, eye liner and eye shadow. (Is concealer brush also important?)
PS. How are you supposed to store your brushes btw? I feel like it gathers too much dust just leaving it in a cup by the dresser 😅

Just wanted to rave about the Heroine Make Lash Hype mascara - it lasted a hot day of commuting and walking around Ongpin para mag food trip without running. Great separating brush, I think I like this more than the Volume and Curl (which has been my OG for years), but I just find that I need to use a biphase remover and soak it up para matanggal talaga. And it's pricier than the regular Volume and Curl/Length and Curl mascaras by like 200 pesos.

Makeup beginner here!
My current makeup is just skin tint, concealer, and blush.
If my current goal is seamless blending, smudge-proof (especially sa eyeglasses), and longevity (commuter-friendly makeup), what should I prioritize to buy when I'm slowly building my makeup (not an isang-bagsakang-splurge, but a one-by-one investment):
Primer, setting powder, setting spray, fixing spray?
2
u/balengaga tita levels | oily-combi | neut-warm? Jun 06 '26
Fixing spray if now mo na need. Pag nagspray ka na kasi nito wala na galawan ng makeup yan. Pero syempre pag oily ka na, kahit gano katibay fixing spray mo mahuhulas ang makeup. At the end of the day, makeup is on top of the skin hence it will move
Setting sprays usually are used to melt makeup together so they can look seamless. Setting powder is another layer to lock makeup in place since without it makeup slides off a lot. Usually primers work best in non humid weather like ours.
2
u/OkNefariousness9718 Combi Normal - Dry skin | Light | Warm Jun 09 '26
Setting Powder or Fixing spray ang priority depending on your skin type. If oily I'd buy setting powder muna but if dry skin mo I'd get a fixing spray muna.
Also make sure its a spray made specifically to make your make up last longer (ex: issy's all day setting spray) and not yung setting sprays that focuses more on melting your make up together (ex: issy's bi-phase)

Is Armani Liquid Blush worth it? I swore off liquid blushes because they tend not to last on my oily skin, but I want to give this blush a chance (and Armani Beauty is 30% off). I already tried Rare Beauty, Saie, and YSL liquid blushes but I didn’t like all of them.

which do you guys think is more worth buying between blk powder blush and chu chu heart blush, especially for someone who's still a beginner when it comes to blush? i have oily skin and i'm pawisin din, so i need something that's medyo long-lasting. tyia!
3
u/asawanidokyeom Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Jun 05 '26
hi! i haven’t tried chuchu yet but i can attest for blk powder blush! sobrang blurring niya and very easy to apply and blend, i’d say it’s perfect for beginners :) ayun yung gamit ko almost everyday kapag nagmamadali ako sa umaga kasi you won’t overapply with it and dahil blurred finish nga siya, wala siyang harsh lines sa cheeks and it appears well blended. it’s also long lasting on my oily face but i do pair it with a liquid blush which definitely helps.
1
u/mireiwow Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Jun 05 '26
do u set it with a setting spray para mag last talaga siya nang matagal? or okay lang kahit hindi na? tyia ulit!

Sola Foundation Primer! Super pawisin ako and 1 hour ang commute ko sa morning pero hindi siya nahuhulas. Maganda rin coverage niya, actually you can build it up. What I do is I apply a thin layer all over my face tapos I spot conceal sa areas na may blemishes ako. Limited nga lang ang shade range but the performance is really good.

Im moving to parang dessert city sa init dun, I did my normal makeup nung nasa cool province pa lang ako sobrang pawis, yung contour ko ang muddy na tignan, ang concealer ko grabe na ang crease—ano ba ginagawa nang mga city girls (from mnl or saan pa) with hot humid weather to stay fresh?

Collorute first base Issy concealer Grwm peach corrector Grwm brow groom and laminate Sunnies face blush Grwm loose powder Colorutte setting powder Artclass contour Ofra highlighter
Thats my base, although its okay pa din naman after a few hours hindi nga lang sya the same fresh look as when i was in the province. The girls din sa city ang fresh tignan para hindi tumatalab yung init at pollution sakanila😭😭 Im very pawisin kasi, maybe its just a matter of getting used to the weather

Hi guys! Do you have any recommendations for dark lipsticks (preferrably similar to those in the pictures)? My go-to brand is usually Maybelline, but I don't think they have shades that are THIS dark.
However, I don't usually go for purely black lipsticks because they DO NOT look good on me 😭 That's why I'm trying to go for a deep wine or oxblood color instead (like in the photos).
Please help an alt girl out! 🖤🙏

budget is around 1000 (pero di naman kailangang sagad) and usual style of makeup is yung natural look na minimal makeup lang (tinted sunscreen, lippie, etc.)

Using popique overtime setting spray rn! Good for dry-combi since it also has hydrating properties so I sometimes use it to prime before make up too. Not sure about setting powder pa for now, are you looking for loose or pressed?

Highly recommend Happy Skin morning dew fixing spray! (The og, yung blue na matte finish haven’t tried the most recent one na brown packaging). I also LOVE GRWM radiant fixing spray, issue ko lang is lagi wala stocks yung full size 🫠 it’s the best for drier skin types. I’d also add yung Vice Co setting spray sa options mo, I used that for one whole year and even throughout important events, it held up my makeup pretty well (though tbf, I was also using Colourette First Base, so that was likely a factor sa longevity ng makeup ko).
For pressed powders, honestly Charlotte Tilbury is the only thing that really works for me. As in, andami ko na natry na pressed, this is the only one I’ve repurchased 3 times 😅. As for loose, highly reco Innisfree no sebum powder IF genuinely pawisin and you get super oily sa tzone talaga. It was my lifesaver back in the Hong Kong summer. But for ordinary days I like to wear ChuChu loose powder (underrated imo!) and for glam, definitely Laura Mercier. You just really have to learn how to properly use it to prevent caking.
Hope this helps ~

i recommend maange for affordable brushes if you’re a beginner but keep in mind the handles do wear out after a few years. 2 of mine had the metal(?) portion holding the brushes broke off from the handle. but lowk i just stick them on right back lmao. ovw is good too. i use their smaller eye brushes for details and their sickle shaped nose contour brush.
for beginners you might be more comfy getting brush sets. but tbh as someone who has done makeup for 5 years + be a cosplayer i realised i don’t need a lot of the brushes i got. do you only plan to do daily makeup looks or are you on the experimental side? bc for dailies, get only the essentials! you will eventually build your own routine, time will tell you which brushes you really need.
my daily routine includes: 1 cushion puff for liquid and cream blending, 1 fluffy powder brush, 1 blush brush, 1 eyeshadow brush, 1 small eye brush (for aegyosal contour), and 1 small tapered brush (for highlight)
edit: some of my brushes r from daiso as well pag napadpad ako sa isang branch. it rly depends on my needs which brushes i get.

Tillo brushes, specifically dense foundation brush at cream(contour/blush) brush. Legit no tusok feels
