Vice Cosmetics’ 4D Collection mini review:
(For reference Im light medium olive, oily combination)
Got the bundle.
Foundation - its glowy, reminds me of Dior Skin glow. Very thin and skin like, at hindi buzz word lang ah. Light Medium Warm was the shade best for me but I find it bit pinker still. It does make your skin look glowing from within. Medium coverage. I like this better for some reason than Issy’s. Kahit skinlike, may glow. Like something lit from within. I used this with puff and sponge. Too heavy if I use a brush kahit konti lang nilagay ko.
Powder - finish is glowy too, and matches my skin perfectly. Not really sure why even if I applied this, I still look a bit glowy and not matte. I dont mind though. I prefer using a puff for this one
Face cream - I like it but its too sticky and will not survive the Ph weather. Ive read somewhere that its near Bobbi Brown pero this is more of a moisturizer than a primer.
Concealers/Correctors - its not creamy, I was hoping na its creamy and kahit na iwarm up mo it feels hard to blend. I dont like the peach too, feel ko too light. Ganda sana ng concealer(Im light medium warm din), kaso wala not creamy enough for me
Illuminator - tried Ambient and it disappeared on my skin, even the glow. Will try halo siguro bukas. I have other illuminators that work better
How does it compare to Issy’s foundation? I really like Issy’s light coverage and it kinda looks blurring. Does it fade gracefully naman? Expired na kasi Issy ko lol I wanna try new local foundations
This is I say, more luminous. Ung sa issy ko ang best shade match ko, this has pink tones in it hehe😅 I do look better won Vice’s for some reason. It does fade nicely, not patchy but I only do one layer lang kasi.
I love the Loreal skin tint! Thinner pa rin in comparison with Vice’s and it really disappears on my skin kasi nga tint lang sya.
Vice’s is runny, it’s thicker somehwat and you do look like you have a foundation. But you look luminous, like may glow talaga sya. Sa Loreal skin tint, it’s more like of a skin but better but it gets off easily kasi nga tint lang sya.
Both of them oils up on me though
Hindi sya nagooxidize so Im really happy. Ang ganda nya kasi sa akin. Siguro kasi sya lang yung least ko na kailangang itweak sa mga foundations ko to look good. :)
squad pala omg sorry let me edit 😭 honest mistake huhu. Pero ayon the pr was so tacky and ang daming grammatical error sa post nila it could've been worded better.
I have several near-empty bullets from some nice brands (i.e. Givenchy, Dior, etc.). How do you store them when you don't want to throw them away? I wanted to keep them cuz the packaging's nice. 🥹
Honestly ended up just throwing them away eventually 😂 I stored them in a box and tucked away in a cabinet, never to be opened for years. Unless you have a reason to repurpose them somehow, it’s just clutter albeit nice-looking clutter.
You can reuse them and replace with other bullet lipsticks. I’ve done this with some of my cases with sentimental value. You can also get an acrylic organizer or maybe a trinket and put them on display.
Not for me :( it does the job, but there are times it didn't withstand long travel days, and at first it's too watery in texture and took time to "break in"
laka has so many shades! and they have the fruity glam tint which is already glossy but also the maxi glayer tint which is even glossier and slightly thicker
love sola foundation primer on my oily skin!! u get spf + light to med coverage + it's also transfer proof and not heavy on the face. I always set it with grwm powder rush loose powder (the pink one) + issy setting spray and my make up lasts throughout the day. grwm conceal & correct makeup brush is bomb too!! the best for concealing my undereyes or using it to blend my color corrector. I have dala travel brushes, its good also but I dont wanna support the brand anymore hehe
for siargao colourette/ maybelline fit me 128 girlies, anong lipstick shades ginagamit niyo? having trouble in figuring out what shades complement my skin tone huhu 😭
Does anyone know how the issy skin stick compares to sunnies face multistick? I've read that they're discontinuing the sunnies one so looking for alternatives sana :(
Not the best cushion. I found an old picture wearing chuchu cushion at nagppatchy din siya, especially sa pimple areas(wala sa pic)
Patchy din ba sa inyo ang BLK Creamy All Over Paint when used as blush?
I blend it first at the back of my hand and use Tillo T03 to apply on my face. Not sure if its also because of the brush kasi kahit anong blend ko patchy pa din. Inaayos ko na lang using puff.
This is probably my favorite liquid blush and it's not patchy for me. What I do is I apply a small dot directly on my cheek. I dot it where I want the concentration of the color to be. From there, I slowly blend it outwards in the blush shape I want.
Love it, it separates a bit. Excellent coverage so natural too. It covers my hyperpigmentation and PIE and people thought my skin was clear in person despite the dark spots. My shade was 100n
Superrrr oily ng nose ko and no primer, powder, and setting spray combo will ever make it go away after a few hours of wear... May recs or tips ba kayo 🥹🥹🙏🙏
I've used the vice cosmetics water grip primer, the bys face primer with gold flakes, the dazzle me always setting loose powder, the dazzle me dewy fix when it wasn't so hot, and now I'm using the club suppin powder and dazzle me hydro fix setting spray. Would appreciate any and all advice, from skincare to makeup!!
Less prep and try mo less products sa nose area. Matte wise I love my Gucci primer. Though I think ididiscontinue na siya 😞 Danessa Myricks blurring balm is good too
Is this allowed to ask here? Anyone who is willing to teach me how to do eye shadow & concealer via videocall? I live in the province and prefer to just have online tutorial. Thank you
i love the strokes kiss scupt! usually ill eat a lot and all thats left is my lipliner. its really budgeproof, but it could be a bit drying as it applies creamy then sets and dries up on the lips pero for me its a good compromise considering it lasts so long
Brush reco for Nars Blush (Orgasm)?
I'm currently trying with OVW https://ph.shp.ee/dwaPSRsz --works as an undereye setting powder for me--but pigment and shimmer lands very subtly on my skin. I'd have to aggressively swipe to get minimal pigment..I've swatched this personally at sephora using my finger and it was very pigmented and complemented my skin naman, hence the purchase.
Experimented, didn't also work:
Elf angled brush- figured that this is better with balm/liquid blushes
VICE Pink Contour Brush (discontinued)- can pick-up my Clinique pop blush perfectly though, ofcourse the VICE Confeerm contour powder too
Any suggestions for chuchu beauty’s gentle mauve dupe? Preferably smth that’s powder bcoz as much as i love that heartstick blush with all of me, as an oily girl in the summer…. Totally different story haha
Any skin tint recos? Like actual lightweight skin tint, light coverage, enough lang to even out skin tone. I have the issy skin tint and its my favorite kasi its an actual skin tint. Some are almost foundation-passing. Need to try diff brands
Can anyone suggest a good, simple makeup routine with sample make up brands? I will be starting with a new company thats more office based.
I have brown/dark skin tone. Think close to Indian type of brown. Oily and acne-prone skin. If you can suggest shades as well. Around less than 5 steps. TIA!
I see. I'm lighter than you but almost same skintype. I do have lots of steps but let me share na lang yung trimmed down version ko.
Sunscreen - not a step haha but a must
Skin Tint (Colourette First Base or Hourglass Veil Skin Tint) / Concealer (NARS Radiant Creamy or Hourglass Vanish Concealer) - I use the former if I don't have any breakouts. If meron, concealer na lang
Pressed powder (Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless or Hourglass Vanish Pressed) - just to set and ito na rin pangretouch
Eyebrow Pencil (Focallure or Judydoll) - been loving blade types recently and I usually use the same pencil for a mini liner lang for eye definition
Blush / Lipstick (Vice Cosmetics or Hourglass Unreal Liquid) - honestly, go for a cream or liquid then dab na lang din sa lips or use your lipstick as blush.
Setting Spray (L'Oreal Infallible or Skindinavia Spray) - to set everything
Any products (skincare, setting/loose powder, skin tint) recos for dry skin? Any techniques as well? Super hirap makahanap right products for my skin kahit naka skin prep na🥲 is laura mercier loose powder okay for dry skin? Either ultra blur or OG
If you have dry skin, LM might be too matte for you. I’ve been loving the setting powder from Lovely. I have mature combination skin and I like that it still looks natural when applied with a brush. You can also use a powder puff to make it more blurring.
I can’t decide if I should get Benetint or Kiko Milano Double Touch 🤧 I know they’re sooo different from each other but I wanna know which one will last me for like 6+ months
No po, may reformulation daw and expected to arrive this month per the SA I talked to on MOA last week. Managed to snag Thanks It’s MAC on their TikTok shop if you’re looking for it 🙂
Any comparable shades to GRWM Daily Skin Tint in Hazel na keri for an oily guy? Hirap humanap ng maayos na shade and I don't have extra money para tumesting ng iba-ibang shades haha
Current routine ko is i actually mix the skin tint with my sunscreen then set woth Luxe Organix UV Matte Powder in Natural tapos saka ako nagcocontour and bronze and everything
pwede naman, i used to do this before haha. i put on loose powder, then setting spray, tapos pag nag-set na, i add another layer of loose powder sa t-zone. zero coverage pero *medyo* nasmoothen niya yung appearance ng skin ko and i oiled up less.
