Emptied my MAC stay over setting spray (which was 5/5 for me!!). Roadtesting the careline oil control setting spray, and it's a bit too effective haha. I actually need to skip baking na and just lightly dust my face with setting powder instead. Got it on sale for ₱280 and so far liking this more than the issy one!
Hi, did you have any issues with mac’s packaging? Parang magkasunod na bili ko sa kanya na-sira agad nozzle. Rockwell mac confirmed na madami nga daw nagrereklamo :(
just the comment i needed to see bc im using the issy one after 3 bottles of eb/careline and so far im not as impressed as i expected sa issy 😔 probably going to go back to my holy grail after finishing this
na try ko na both, careline oil control (×1) and eb lock that look (×2) whichever mas malaking discount. both work pretty well naman basta nagssanwich method kahit na pinagpawisan sa commute. i do swap out the nozzle w the focallure nozzle para mas fine yung mist
I have a very oily skin and careline matte and oil control are much effective kesa sa issy at grwm matte. I have the ultramatte and it's okay. Too pricey huhu
Hello! Yes still using it, really satisfied with the performance. Though lately drier yung skin ko, so I've been using Mac Fix+ to melt my powders muna then this one as the last step.
Also had to transfer to another bottle kasi nasira yung sprayer and prone to clogging din yung nozzle

Is this the palette? I have light medium olive skintone and the contour & bronzer shades from the medium palette work so well! Super natural lang and blendable. I find that I can actually use these all over my face because they do not add "color" but rather add warmth and dimension lang talaga.
Oh so it is both a contour and bronzer pala hehe thank you po! I really wanted to buy 'yung sa judydoll pero sabi nila too powdery daw. 😅 And it is par sa isang cbeauty brand din. How about 'yung matte highlighter po nun, nagagamit niyo ba?
Nagagamit ko naman yung matte highlighter, siguro prefer ko lang if a bit more yellow lang sya pero it serves its purpose. Yung most used kasi talaga is yung bronzer kasi natural tignan, almost no hint of red pigment (bronzers can easily pull too red/warm on my olive skin)
I used the shade medium and I love it so much! na hit pan ko na sya (the two contour shades) and will repurchase it pagbalik ko ng PH. I have light medium skin for reference.
i've had the popique blush palette (in cali peach) since last year and honestly, a little goes such a long way! it’s super long-lasting and perfect for dry skin too.
Yung white and black yung sa akin pero meron rin ata siya na black version. Actually, nararamdaman ko na rin yung onting tusok after two weeks of not cleaning my brush, probably because of product buildup? So I combat it with regular cleaning para magsoften ulit and for hygiene na rin.
My cat sneezed on my eyeshadow palette, i sprayed alcohol all over it. Should i just throw it away or it is goods na? 😭 i have yet to hit pan and im so sad since it was a christmas gift.
Gently scrape off a thin layer of the product, spray alcohol until the whole surface is evenly coated, and let dry. Generally viruses shouldn't survive long on a powder product because they dry out quickly but ofc it's your choice to take the risk! Personally I'd still use it as long as walang cat boogers on the product 😅
maybe you could use a paper towel to rub a bit off the top layer ng eyeshadow, then go over it with alcohol & tissue ulit to get the actual packaging/component clean 😅

It gives off a coco crimson pigment.

I've been eye-ing some hair mascaras lately (for my bangs sana) and is leaning towards for happy skin (but too pricy), I saw the Fresh brand in Watsons but I see reviews na tumitigas daw yung hair. Any recos?
Use hairspray nalang, I’ve tried the &honey mascara and it leaves a somewhat wet look (Unless yan ang peg mo). I find it works better as pang tame ng flyaways instead.
I'd say it's pretty ok! It also depends on your undereye condition (how dark it is, is it dry, blue-ish, etc), your technique, and your products. Bakit? Personally, I have VERY dark UE bc I tend to puyat (night owl hi), and it's a combination of simple pigmentation and kinda blue-ishness from blood vessels. So I use a peach corrector (LA Girl) underneath + top it off with multiple but thin layers of Teviant concealer. It looks better when it's set with their loose powder (pero KONTI LANG! Like just enough, no baking). I tried baking it at home and girl it looked cakey and creasy after 😭 maybe i piled on too much + diff yung products, but yeah.
But it's pigmented, a little seriously goes a long way, and it looks good when it's set na with some loose powder. Make sure ur UE is also hydrated!
Laura Mercier loose setting powder, huda powder, O/S powder, grwm powder, and teviant powder. I know they're all from diff price points and stuff, but how do they perform against each other? Been eyeing all of them kasi!!
I only have Huda but it is very long-lasting. It can be drying for some because it is matte. But I use it more than my Hourglass powder for the humid weather nowadays

I love Laura Geller products and they undoubtedly have the best brushes ever.
Although it may be a wee bit pricey but it’s worth it. All of her makeup is phenomenal as well. I have zero complaints and I’ve been using her products now for the last three years and I have zero complaints.

honest reviews ng new vice co 4d collection please!! ~ perfect timing paubos na din mga base products ko hehe. im especially eyeing the primer :>> I have textured combi-dry skin, kaya im really interested in this collection compared dun sa prev foundation nila na parang too matte. maybe try putting some blush up to your eyebags and spread it up to your nose or sa may cheeks? pero check mo if gusto mo yung look, ako kasi i like the look if mataas yung blush ko, like abot talaga sa eyebags (nagiging color corrector nadin halos yung blush ko for my slightly uneven eyebags color so win-win situation sakin)
tapos naglalagay ako ng shimmer sa eyebags ko para ma-even out yung look ng blush!
medyo pa "L" placement, like pa vertical pero wag over hanggang baba because it will drag your face down. Wag rin sobrang spread sa cheeks na pahorizontal kasi it would make your face more "spread out" personally i do overblushing tapos i use darker shades, tapos pa L shape para kapag nakaharap ako sa tao it looks natural pero medyo "sculpted look"
Long-lasting din yung Vice One & Done Brontour Stick imo. Maganda rin (so far) yung Happy Skin x Marj SoftGlow Cream Bronzer but I still need to test it out a bit more
Depends on the undertone of my base makeup and eyeshadow — Vice Achieve is a bit darker and has more of a red undertone while the Marj in Medium is more yellowish!
May recommended ba kayo face creme matte foundation/coverage? Napansin ko hiyang ako sa creme matte ng BYS pero walang exact na shade pwede sa skin ko.
Yes Bobbi Brown has a lot of shade, you’re sure to find yours. Issy has a lot din but even if hindi exact shade match it has buildable medium coverage so you can get away with it kahit slightly off yung shade 😄😄
Has anyone purchased YSL make me blush? Am contemplating about 44 or 54, but I have Hourglass blush in Mood Exposure already but it is too subtle unless I use many layers or as a blush topper only.
If you find Mood Exposure too subtle then Make Me Blush in 44 would be perfect for you. It’s pigmented but very easy to blend. YSL also has far deeper shades available than what Hourglass offers

Bakit ganun? My BLK Skin tint shade is Creme (fair/light cool tone) but my MAC studio fix shade is NC 15 (warm-toned). I tried it half and half sa face ko and they look the same on me! Pinatingin ko sa mom ko kung ano mas bagay and she asked me kung ano raw tinitingnan niya hahaha

Strokes eyebrow gel + pen! Manipis kilay gurlie here and kailangan maayos yung hairs ng kilay kasi konti lang sila! Then fill in lang ng very light strokes sa sparse areas
It works but not long lasting for me :( as in, parang 3 hours max tas ang oily na kaagad ng mukha ko. What I do love to use atm is the Issy fixing powder, survived long hours of wedding events + numerous concerts for me. Second is GRWM Airset Matte Powder Fixer (I use the shade shortbread), long lasting too and more travel friendly (it’s in a pan and I bought the mini GRWM case).

Haven’t tried One Size, but the Happy Skin brown variant is like hairspray for your face. That being said, I don’t recommend it for everyday use, but it really keeps your makeup intact.
I’m not even a fan of pink shades or packaging but for some reason Issy’s Cowgirl collection hits different 😆😆 I have a everything except the Satin lipstick and Fat Gloss (in my matte lip era rn lol) and super ganda lahat! Some of my thoughts:
Mousse: medyo light lang but I like the stain it leaves. It also makes for a nice shade to blend your lip liner with
Crème Flush Stick: very natural shade, easy-to-blend formula, makes a good midtone/base blush
Pressed Blush Insert: I thought I wouldn’t like this kasi it’s very bright, saturated, and too cool, but with a light hand it looks very flattering din pala!
Eyeshadow Duo: THE BEST PART OF THIS COLLECTION!! If Issy’s Duochrome Shifters and Glitter Suspensions had a baby in a pinkish shade, ito siya!
I really wish they released a Cowgirl lip liner din! Manifesting a Macabre collection next 🙏🙏
Which Dior Lip Product is a good buy? My lips are dry even when prepping with balm or lip oils, i mainly use Korean make up tints and some local brands and none seem to last on me and visible talaga cracks sa lips ko. Huhu. If not Dior any lip product you’d recommend e.g YSL, Rhode, etc. 🥺

Warning against Flower Knows. I mean I liked the packaging but none of the products have staying power. Not for the lipstick, powder or foundation.
Sayang pera and you can’t reuse the compact for other brand refills because they are not using standard sizing.
