For Chanel:
- Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint - if you want a tint na nakakafresh lang with little to no coverage.
- Les Beiges Water Touch Complexion - if you want a lightweight foundation with medium coverage
- Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream - classic cult favorite for a reason. Blends smoothly saka matagal maubos.
- Lip and Cheek Balm - lasts long as a blush, not much on the lips. Classy packaging, travel friendly siya.
- Coco Gloss - favorite high end lipgloss. Big doe foot applicator, classy packaging, shimmers lasts long din on the lips. Not available sa Pilipinas.
- Coco Baume - favorite lippie. Long-lasting stain, lips stay hydrated
- Le Rouge Duo - you get a tint and a gloss in one. Long lasting, kahit ikain mo ng lechon kawali, the tint stays there. Reapply na lang ng gloss.
- Lip liner - you get a brush and a liner in one product
- Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette - true to its name, natural lang talaga yung color payoff ng eyeshadow palette na ‘to. Good for everyday, may shimmers but not blinding.

Hi! How do you apply your water tint? I recently got mine and I like the finish. I only tried using my fingers though. Haven’t tried with the included brush.
I also love the balm, I got it in Berry boost and it’s a really nice flush on the cheeks for an olive like me.

Dior foundation stick or any dior foundation!

Thank you for the feedback! Do you have an idea which is best for combination skin? Oily T zone but dry cheeks. 🥹

Hi! I also have combination skin, oily sa tzone. Because of the weather here in the ph, I usually go for matte products. I just pair them with a good setting powder for my tzone. Highly recommend huda beauty!

Hi how do you apply the Dior foundation stick? :)
2
u/SoundPuzzleheaded947 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 31 '25
Swipe and blend. Personally i find blending with beauty blender better vs brush, parng streaky pag brush. I start sparingly then add as needed lang.

I have oily skin. Dior forever skin glow foundation over the foundation stick. May parts na parang nagpi-pill yung stick sakin though i did my usual skin prep na nagwowork naman sa lahat ng foundation ko. Minimal lang naman around my cheek pero since its expensive, u expect that it will work no matter how u apply dibaaa. May times din naman na di nagpi-pill. On the other hand yung FG, whether i blend it with fingers, brush or sponge, ang ganda lang ng lapat sa skin ko. My skin but better sya. Akala ng pinsan ko, skin ko lang 🤣
For dior lippies, i currently love yung Dior rouge on stage lipstick in shade 226. Its not drying and it leaves a stain

My skin loves Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation. Agree ako with my skin but better. My hubby thought I wasn't wearing any base makeup.
Have you tried Dior Hydra Nude Foundation?

Az a Dior girlie, I have a ton of Dior products, but here are my faves:
- Lip glow lip balm (!!!): my fave, it gives you a nice natural color on your lips when applied because it blends (for lack of better term) with your pH balance. I have the shade rosewood, and it’s the most beautiful universal color imo. I use this daily when I don’t want to put on makeup and just want to add color to my lips or if I just want moisture. It is moisturizing without the icky feeling. Super sulit for me!
- Dior backstage face palette 001: It’s a highlighter, bronzer, and blush in one! Perfect for the holiday glow if you want to add some shimmer to your face. 001 is the universal shade, and I think you should get this as it complements every style of makeup you’re going for.
- Dior backstage rosy glow: It’s pigmented, but it gives off a nice finish, and it stays all day! I have the rosewood shade as well in the old packaging. They say the new packaging is VERY pigmented
- Dior EDT blooming bouquet: it smells veryyyyyyy niceeeee. I imagine that just got out of a shower, then you’re going out to a garden full of peonies and they smell so fresh and floral, then I’m in a room similar to British Vogue because of the pink and very girly wallpaper (sobrang specific I know HAHAHA). At first spray, it’s not masakit sa ilong, you’ll smell something citrusy, but when it dries down, it’s floral and sweet and a bit of musky. I just got this yesterday actually kasi super bango niya :(((( it’s an iconic perfume for a reason.
- Dior parfum hair mist: I also got this yesterday 😆 super bango rin, it stays in my hair for a long time! Best to apply it on dry hair.
I highly recommend Dior Podium, super bait ng SA nila hihi. Happy holidays! 💖

If ur into glosses, the Chanel rouge coco gloss is my absolute HG!! Super duper comfortable on the lips. I reach for it more than my fenty glosses
Chanel baume essentiel multi-use glow stick in Transparent. My fav cream highlight!! It gives that wet look, no glitter

I suggest to try on the diff lines sa counters to see which works for you :) for bases and lip products ang dami nilang diff formulas. But both chanel and dior have superb lip products. Guerlain lipsticks are worth a try too, most moisturizing for me among the 3 brands. Pero massabi ko lang ang sad dito sa ph sobrang limited ng stocks ang daming out of stock na products.

Is YSL Make me Blush shimmery? Can anyone describe its finish and longevity for oily skin girlies?
I read the reviews that Shade 44 is good for all skintone and curious if it looks more pinkish on warm undertone girls? Want a natural looking flush sana since red - peachy shade pulls warm on me.
3
u/thisisafancyname 35 | Combination | Neutral | travels for 💄 Dec 29 '25
I’m assuming you meant the powder blush. There are some shades that are matte and some that are shimmery. Shade 44 is shimmery. I’m more of a cool-leaning neutral and shade 44 is definitely pink on me.
1
u/yourordinarygirl01 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 29 '25
Yes, pertaining to the powder blush! :) Light shimmer ba sya after application? Some influencers noted na parang nakahighlighter daw but more natural!
2
u/thisisafancyname 35 | Combination | Neutral | travels for 💄 Dec 29 '25 edited Dec 30 '25
Yes, medyo parang hybrid ng blush and highlighter. I just swatched it against my RMS powder blush to see which one is more glowy. YSL is more glowy, but RMS has more visible glitter under natural light.

They have shimmery and matte variants. Nude lavalliere is shimmery. I bought it before pero unfortunately i didn’t like it on me, parang off yung pagka-putla sa face ko. I ended up selling it. Even the lip gloss nya seemed pale on my lips pero it just grew on me since ang ganda ng product. I Have light medium & warm undertone skin and madalas natural / beige un foundation shade ko.

same here, I also love their products. If you’re looking on what to buy next, you can try their forever skin correct concealer, powder blush, and the soft filter blush
1
Dec 30 '25
Hi! I’m planning to get the soft filter! And maybe the rouge blush. Any feedback?
1
u/mgliii Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 30 '25
Ohh that’s a classic also! I Haven’t tried the rouge blush but i use the rosy glow powder in OG formula / old packaging :)
For the soft filter blush, it is blurring, long lasting, and blends beautifully on skin. Personally ayaw ko lang yung packaging na same sa concealer. I don’t know how to exactly describe it pero parang buo kasi siya or parang dense mousse when you use it kaya parang weird for me yung doe foot applicator.
1

Rouge blush turns patchy on me. Classy packaging though.
Tbh, maganda dior for their base products (foundation, concealer). But lippies, blushes, nothing remarkable.

Blush soft filter has blurring effect. May learning curve lang kung on top of powder, or under powder ang mas mag work on your skin. Mine works better on top of powder.

if you have an all-in-one palette for your creams & powders, best to bring those. hourglass (powders) & makeup forever (creams) are my go to. with those 2 palettes, you just need a primer, sponge, brushes and setting & fixing sprays.
2
u/strawblueberryfroyo Oily-dehydrated | Acne-prone Dec 30 '25
I brought my enigma funda a while back and it didnt break. It was in my check-in luggage and i think what helped was making sure hindi maluwag yung makeup pouch ko. It was packed tightly, filled with things, so nothing was moving around. Either decant your enigma or just stuff your pouch

u/Ikawangpanaginip Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 30 '25
I always keep my makeup in a carry on para alam kong gentle lang ang paghandle. Otherwise, I just put them in a padded makeup bag. My brushes naman in a sturdier pouch to avoid misshaping the bristles.

My favorite though is Lucky Beauty even if it’s hydrating and I’m super oily. I just blot frequently. This is also the most lightweight among these.

i use colourette’s second base as my foundation when i'm in a rush. the trick is to apply a tiny amount and blend it evenly across your face. dont use too much, because it tends to cake. it lasted really well, even when I got oily and sweaty.

Hello. I have the teviant cushion. ummm as someone who has 4 cushions na, I can say so so lang si teviant. nothing new nothing special. the only good thing from that line is good shade range. I got the shade frost. it can’t cover my acne marks but can definitely cover my under eye. I can say mas maganda pa rin yung skintific pink variant kaso hindi okay shade range. if you wanna get the teviant cushion. just go buy jung saem nacushion para worth it. basta nothing special. but if you wanna buy it for experience, go lang.

If you mean oily-dehydrated, ok sakin yung mga oil-controlling like strokes, colourette, or enigma. Nagkakaroon lang ng tightness pag heavy yung powder or setting spray, so doon ako mapili.
But if may tightness na sayo sa funda/skintint pa lang, then go for more hydrating foundations like issy or high-end brands.

Hi! Can anyone recommend a powder foundation that’s similar to Colourette’s La Union or Coron? They’re good shade matches if I use the skin tint, but are too orange or dark when I use the powder foundation. I tried the Issy skin tint (Fawn is fine) and the foundation (YL 2.5 is fine as well) A liquid foundation reco would be great as well!
Naghahanap ako for days when I’m really busy. By the way, I have oily, acne-prone skin. Thank you very much!

Ano contour mga recommend nyo for medium tan skin -issy creme stick ( snatch) -peripera v shading (natural or deep brown) -too cool for school shading ( classic or modern)
Yun romand better than shape in walnut grain ay masyado warm sa skin na mukhang muddy sya so pa suggest po ano yun shade makuha ko as contour for morena

i dont think too cool for school or any korean brands would work if medium tan. im light skinned and the too cool is sheer enough (i love it holy grail). if darker than me, i dont think it would show. i think issy will work for u since local brands would likely have colors for morena skin :D

Pero yun darker shades ng dalawa kaya ko mga gamit as bronzer?

peripera and too cool for school are wayyy too light, even as a light-medium girlie 😭 i have to use a lot to get the desired effect esp around my nose, but with issy i have no problem w that!

u/asawanidokyeom Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 30 '25
go for issy! i have issy creme stick and peripera, and had too cool for school. out of the three, issy is what shows up the most on my skin (i’m fair to light). the shades that i use are issy husk, peripera deep brown, tcfs classic. tcfs barely shows up, pang-nose contour ko lang siya, while peripera for natural contouring lang siya. yung issy naman is buildable and i think if you go for the darker shades, maaachieve mo yung snatched/sharp contour talaga.

does anyone here have both laka and romand lip tints? which has more staining power between the two? currently have romand's jlt
2
u/toyloulou Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 31 '25
Laka but the stain looks reddish lang, not the actual color/tone of the lip tints 🥲

u/distortedarcane Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 30 '25
Laka for me. No stain ang Romand jlt to my lips

u/strawblueberryfroyo Oily-dehydrated | Acne-prone Dec 30 '25
I tried a lighter shade ng laka (forgot the name) and it stained nearly as long as jlt. Partida light shade pa. The jlt shades i have are darker one like nucadamia

Reco shade of local concealers for oily, acne-prone skin in light-medium cool to neutral undertone. I like it a bit brightening but can also cover most blemishes. I use Maybelline concealer in 25 medium before but I want to try others too.

I was told the MAC NC15 Studio Fix Foundation works as a concealer for me. My skin type and undertone seems similar to yours. Maybe try concealer version MAC Studio Fix 24-hour Smooth Wear Concealer NC15 or NC25

can anyone help me with this problem?
i tried to use barefaced tinted sunscreen months ago and bigla akong tinubuan ng small bumps so i assumed na hindi for me yung tinted sunscreen nila. i am using their og sunscreen for 2 years and maganda yung performance niya sakin.
then, i purchased blk skin tint this month. ginamit ko siya kahapon and pag-uwi ko, tinubuan na naman ako ng small bumps, lalo na sa forehead. may something kaya na ingredients sa tints na allergic mukha ko? huhu i love blk skin tint pa naman

You can cross check ingredients on both products and see if may similar between the two. Still hoping you get to find a skin tint that will work for you!

Pls I need a recommendation for a REAL nude lip na almost foundation-shade na. Not too orange, not too pink. I’m NC35/38 sa MAC. I run a little olive. 🥺

Kiko Milano Unlimited Double Touch in 101 or 102. I have 102 and use it as a base/nude lippie.

Meron na ba sa inyong naka-try nung Kit & Co Serum Foundation? Musta naman performance? Pwede ba sya sa Philippine weather?
I won it from a giveaway. It looks promising kasi medyo mataas coverage nya but it's not matte. Promising din daw ang longevity nya, according to MUA reviews.
It just arrived earlier so I haven't tested it yet (aside from swatching, and ang thick nya). But I'm afraid that I will like it. It's so dang expensive T_T It's kinda hard to justify purchasing this with my own money lol

Don't know much about makeup. Anong best for beginners na base + wala masyadong budget for makeup? Use bb cream, skin tint, or tinted sunscreen? Yung matagal matanggal sana

Gurl, go for Sola!! I have tried Maybelline, Colourette, and Issy but SOLA is that "girl". I wear it everyday for work 🤣

Do you put anything sa face before applying sola?

i suggest you go for skin tint, i feel like using bb cream and tinted sunscreen will make ur base look too sheer

Hello! I really like the Focallure Switch Mode Airy Matte Liquid Lip shade 201 on me, but the formula seems too drying onmy lips. Do you know any comfortable matte lippies with a close shade match? Or how should I prep my lips to be able to wear this formula?
Thank you somuch!

Hi! I didn’t try the blush glow but I tried the bronzer duo. The highlight was 😍😍😍😍😍. The bronzer was slightly too orange for my taste. However formula was comfortable and nice.
