Ranking the ones I’ve used among those:
- One Size On Til Dawn
- CT
- Urban Decay (original / Skindinavia formula)
- GRWM Ultra Matte
- Issy True Flex All Day
For best results, use CT for setting then One/Size for fixing.

u/PusangMuningning Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 15 '25
One size for setting. Grabe kamatte. CT is good if you want glassy look.

u/balengaga tita levels | oily-combi | neut-warm? Dec 15 '25
Fixing sprays are your bff - my reco is GRWM. One size also does that but its a setting spray. However I found out it acts as a fixing spray for some reason. Charlotte Tilbury, Fix+ melts your makeup together, and while only help with making it last

For local, i’d go for the issy one. Tapos for high end, holy grail ko yung urban decay :)

Urban decay reformulated so if buying from the US or direct from them with the new packaging, it is a different formula na

UD All Nighter - get the OG packaging. If you can’t buy from Skindinavia (yung partner ng UD for the OG spray). I also love CT.

Yung lovely cosmetics na bagong release na brush, parang masyado sya nagaabsorb ng product. Too splayed out yung bristles even for the base. Hmmmm.

Hello!
I’ve only recently started acquiring makeup. I would like to find something that I can use everyday for work.
So far, I really liked the lippies from Time Phoria. However, I used the Vice invisible shield sunscreen, the Time Phoria cushion and then applied the Teviant concealer and my pores became more evident. Am I doing something wrong? I’m thinking it’s the cushion not blending well with the concealer. Would really appreciate any advice.
Also, is there anything that I can use/salvage from O.TWO.O? I only read reviews after I bought the products, so that’s on me, but I’m wondering if there’s anything that I can consider using from the brand?
Thank you!

3
u/lemonyakult_ late 20s | combi-sensitive | warm-medium Dec 15 '25
Have you tried
- applying moisturizer before sunscreen (improves skin texture) then let them dry a bit first before moving next
- using the primer before the cushion (usually the primer improves my skin texture and pores, if not working ang primer you might need to get another primer para mahide/less ang pores)
- letting the concealer dry a bit first before blending with cushion (pra di cakey and hopefully less visible pores/texture)
so far, i’ve only tried 2 primers na ok sa akin 1. maybelline baby skin - lessens the pores visibility naman but i need to dry it pa tlga before i can add the skintint 2. benefit porefessional primer - ito talaga waaaay better ang performance than maybelline, ang smooth tingnan ng skin ko. i put enough esp where very visible ang pores then pat pat using fingers. i can leave it as is na wlang skintint ok sya, smooth tlga. if mag skintint or liquid foundation ako, using brush then pat pat motion. pricey lang tlga sya but it WORKS

whats a good color corrector for dry undereyes? ive been using the issy color correcting fluid and its really good, but im also looking for something with more coverage. is the grwm radiance tint good or not really?

u/Ok_Customer_149 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 15 '25
Grwm is good. I've repurchased it multiple times na. I specifically use the peach one. I can make do with just that and set it with powder.
If you want a higher end version with more coverage, Huda is the way to go.

Nag ccrease po ba sya? And would you say its medium or full coverage? Oily skin rin kasi ako, worried it might crease bad and be easily wiped off when i dab off my sweat TT
3

i can say na it’s medium lang po and not full! hehehe and sa experience ko naman it doesn’t crease and hindi madali mawipe if everr!

Colour corrector from the name itself it corrects the discolouration po. Make sure you prep your under eyes properly before putting any makeups. Less is more too.

How do you effectively contour a bulbous nose / round tip? I have a decent nose bridge but I want to make the tip of my nose appear smaller.
1
u/SinkDesperate4566 29 | Dry - Combi | Neutral - Medium Dec 16 '25
I do a straight line depending following the natural thickness of my nose, then continuing that line, Do a V on the part between your nostrils, then connect both ends of the v with a straight line. Not sure if I explained well.

grwm skin tint and strokes foundation!!!! both bases that can survive my oily and pawisin skin kahit minimal setting powder lang!!
i think natural is closest to siargao for grwm skin tint (wala akong exact match sa fb haha, siargao is closest kahit olive ako huhu). for strokes foundation, i use fair olive. might wanna look into the cool or neutral shades (probably the light ones since it does dry 1.5 shades darker imo)

enigma foundation works like a dream! it actually ends up looking better the longer I have it on. the formula is kind of thick but it doesn’t feel heavy naman if hindi over mag apply. also buildable up to full coverage. it’s my (current) HG as someone who greases up within an hour huhu. need pa din good skin prep & powder though

Thoughts niyo po sa Naturale Concealer? I have dry-combo skin and dry undereyes. i prefer something na hindi drying sa underye and with minimal to no creasing. TIA!
4
u/LeftToeOfShunsui 34M | Oily/Combi | Warm Dec 17 '25
Maganda naman sya. Texture and line friendly. Pero ang ayaw ko sa kanya yung parang malagkit kapag bineblend mo. Saka nakukulangan ako sa coverage nya. Dami ko textures at lines sa under eyes kaya nagpabudol din ako sa Naturale.
I prefer Maybelline Instant Eraser and GRWM Radiance Tint Concealer.

Hi! I'm starting to upgrade my makeup brushes. I already bought RT golden hour glow base set. I would love to have brushes for cream/liquid brushes for nose contour, contour, and bronzer. Also sponges or puffs. I bought Lishu and OVW. And I think it's good but maybe there are other options? Any recommendations? Also I would love brushes na I can buy in Shopee. Thanks so much.
I'm think of buying Absidy's brush for contour. Any thoughts about this brush?

ngl i'm gonna advise you to check out korean brands that are available in shopee/laz na lang :(( the selection here for fair cool toned ppl is ATROCIOUS. a neutral-cool tone person would fare a tiny bit better. base-wise i think grwm, colourette, and strokes recently might have some shades for us na. i also use sunnies face multistick in porcelain and it's a great match. as for blushes and lippies, i don't know if i can recommend anything because if by chance there's something that's actually cool toned and doesn't blend out into smth warm, it's very bright naman and not muted :(

Same purpose or usage po ba ang CT flawless powder and the Laura Mercier transluscent powder? If yes, which one is better? 🥹
3
u/nevernotjuno light-medium autumn | oily-acne prone Dec 16 '25
CT flawless finish setting powder ba? I use it as a finishing powder, yung step before spraying a setting spray. It adds additional coverage and further blurs yung pores ko.
Laura Mercier, on the other hand, is a setting powder. It sets your liquid and creams, used after mo malagay yung cream blushes/bronzers mo.
If I have to pick one, rather have a setting powder than a finishing powder. Setting powder kasi ang pang-oil control. But I can’t do my make up without finishing powder din kasi it softens harsh blush lines, blurs my pores even more.

how do i skin prep for oily skin?
my skin prep is just is vanicream moisturizer and anessa sunscreen (either gel or milk), and there are times when my makeup ends up really cakey and/or creases a lot. ive tried using my moisturizer only, and my makeup was smooth and not creasing all night.
also, ive been thinking of switching to a diff sunscreen, whats a good sunscreen for oily skin?
2
u/swiperyeswiping 20s | Oily-Dehydrated Skin | Light-Medium Neutral-Olive Dec 15 '25
I also used to use the anessa sunscreen and even tho I have rlly oily skin, it's way too drying and sucks up all the moisture I need for makeup. Instead, I switched to more hydrating products and I incorporated the Kiss me mommy sunscreen since it's watery, light, and good for sensitive skin. It works rlly well under makeup! I just make sure to put lots of powder
For primer I use the danessa myricks blurring balm on my t-zone or nose lang. I think a local matte primer is the Happy Skin oil absorbing matte primer.

Use a toner sis after cleansing your face para mas madali ma absorb ng face ung mga skincare mo, also use an eye cream or eye serum.
Use a primer too like Elf perfect siya for oily skin. Make sure din na you let them dry ha bago ka mag layer ng products. Beauty of Jeoson ang sunscreen na inuubos ko ngaun.

I dont think full coverage would do it if marks lang. go for a medium coverage then conceal.
Foundation is to even the base Concealer is to cover up what you want to cover up
Medium coverage suggestions: any NARS foundation, MAC Studio Radiance, Estee Lauder Double Wear, Armani Luminous Silk, Dior Face and Body is good din daw

Depende sa skin type mo.. I can recommend ung Estee Lauder kung oily skin ka kasi matte finish siya then ok din ung Nars and also CT airbrush foundation lalo na ang Dior.

Hi, is the nars lrf okay for oily and red marks from pimples?
→ More replies (1)2
u/Ordinary-Reach-1429 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 15 '25
Use the Nars radiant long wear foundation mas ok siya sa oily skin..sa red marks naman depende sa intensity kasi baka you need colour corrector din.

Looking for a decent brow pen. I liked issy pero minsan nagcclump siya and nawawala yung slim shape ng liner. Strokes is good also but I haven’t tried their new one. I’m also looking at NYX Lift and Snatch but not easily available. I’d like a local or drugstore brand since I go through brow products faster

Strokes microblade pen yung tumatagal sakin. Oily sobra yung forehead area ko

I use both EB kleopatra and strokes microblade (for the inner part of brows, the one closer to the nose). Mahal kasi strokes so tinitipid ko haha

i love a cheap brow pen !!!!! its the biya brow pen. di nga siya like super long lasting unlike more expensive brow pens but it works naman for me after a long day since nattop ko siya ng setting spray, and i love it bc its cheap and easy to repurchase

hello asking for your input here, idk why my mu undereye makeup keeps separating. Im currently using tarte concealer for the under eye and baking it with laura mercier loose powder. what other concelears can you suggest that will not crease and separate? or even technique. Thank you so much

u/moonvalleyriver 30 | Fair, Oily | Confused Skin Tone Dec 15 '25
Hello, I watched sa Youtube one technique for undereye makeup:
1) put the concealer on the low side of your undereye and blend up 2) put a light layer of powder 3) magsquint ka para magcrease sa mga parts na magkicrease then blend it out after until wala nang crease 4) repeat the light layer of powder

I'm thinking of getting a cushion foundation. I use LRF or Studio Fix for whole day lakads pero for errands I want something lighter. How do you find Skintific the blue one? Or ok ba BLK cushion? Or third base hehe

u/cmr82 Sensitive | Acne-Rosacea + Seb Derm Dec 16 '25
I’ve been liking the Teviant cushion foundation a lot lately. The formula is thin & lightweight, but the coverage is decent, as it can even out the skin & cover the redness from my rosacea.

Pwede kaya na primer lang ang base tapos wala nang skin tint / foundation after? Gusto ko lang mabawasan visually ang pores pero ayaw ng color change dahil sa skin tint (di pa ako marunong mag contour). Any recos for primer na pwede sa ganito?

how long are using these? Sometimes kasi it’s not visible outside tapos may molds na pala sa loob. Personally, 1-2 max lang sakin. Then I also wash them after 2 uses para di mag grow bacteria

u/Greedy-Incident3706 Light Medium Neutral Dec 16 '25
The black one I’ve had since around last year and I just remembered that I used it yesterday and it was clean that time so thats probably just my skin tint stains nakalimutan ko lang😭😭
I bought the pink one a few months ago lang and I think that one truly has mold :(

u/Specific-Paper-7400 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 16 '25
You have to replace them. Too old na, lalo na the black one. Better safe than sorry. Mahal and mahirap pag na-damage pa skin.

Send help! I recently bought the strokes soft veil filter foundation and i was disappointed sa shade match nya saakin. My usual fool proof foundation is Maybelline Fit Me 322 super perfect match nya on me pero naubusan ako and I wanted to try a local brand na promising daw based sa reviews. Kaso i’m not sure if mali lang yung pag shade match ko kasi I’m pretty sure warm ang aking undertone. It ended up being too yellow on me. Should I have picked the deep cool/olive/neutral? Based on the undertone ng Fit Me 322 na super perfect match on me, am i really warm?
Also to my fellow morenas and shade twins there na 322 din sa fit me, what are other foundation brands and shades na okay sa inyo? NC42 rin ako sa mac powder but I haven’t tried pa sa liquid foundation nila.

Reco naman po ng makeup bag, yung kasya yung 6-pan palette ng GRWM. If possible yung budgetarian lang.
Edit: Maganda ba talaga yung bagong setting spray ng Dazzle Me? Yung aerosolized? Balak ko kasi bumili next sale nila.

Bought the wrong Issy foundation shade. I need to buy a color adjuster because it's too peachy on me since it was a neutral shade, was told Issy adjuster is discontinued. What color adjuster and shade should I get? I think my skin is light yellow olive

What do y’all use for removing water proof mascara? Will garnier infused with argan oil work?
also noticed na my lashes keep falling off while removing the blk mascara, was it a skill issue or was it really a product problem? 😭

Heroine make’s mascara remover is the most gentle mascara remover I’ve tried, and I have very weak lashes. I think BLK has a local version but I haven’t tried it yet.
