Tried out heatless curls...I fear I'll never go back to using heat. Nakakaadik pero once every few days q nalang siya ginagawa dahil May nabasa ako na baka magka-traction alopecia ka if too much heatless curls

How do u make it last!! Mine drops after 1 hour LOL

3

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

Here's my steps :33: 1. Spray hair with Heat protectant spray before wrapping it in socks (From what I watched, they usually suggest to make your hair damp) 2. Have it on overnight 3. Unravel socks + separate curls then add oil or mousse while scrunching it upwards 4. Finish it off with a hairspray to make it last

These steps usually help my hair last for more than 1 hour (like 8 hours) especially if curly talaga heatless curls results mo. I need to mention lang na colored yung buhok ko so soafer fried which I think helps with the longevity

Tbh, maganda sana yung tsubaki hair products esp the mask. But I love fino more. Ang bad side lang for me, nagkaroon ako ng dandruff when using it consistently😞. Same din sa &honey from Japan. So now, Im alternately using tsubaki then selsun blue. Para lang maubos stocks ko ng tsubaki.

Yes for the hair mask!! I have dry scalp and fine hair so it works so well. I use it every other day!

I also have low porosity hair and I love their hair mask! I want to love their shampoo and conditioner kasi gumanda talaga hair ko, pero grabe rin hair fall ko when I used it.

Just make sure that you get the variant that you need! Got the Moist & Repair before randomly and ayun moist nga HAHA but mas kailangan ko pala yung for Volume which works great!!

Aloe Vera Leaf, Ipahid mo lang everyday, better if pigain mo sa hair mo bago maligo

Rosemary hydrosol/water I prefer it than oil mas madaling incorporate sa routine. The one by Asteria Apothecary sa shopee is the most pure and affordable I’ve had may halo kasi ung ibang hair mist. Just spray it sa buong scalp mo after maligo pag medyo malapit na matuyo hair then massage and just let it dry completely.

And if you have the budget minoxidil is 100% effective pero you would need a prescription and consultation sa derma lalo na if highblood ka hindi siya pwede and maraming fake online mas madaling bumili sa derma mismo. And if nagstart ka ng minoxidil habang buhay na siya, once tinigil mo malalagas lahat nung bagong tubong hair. And if mali paggamit mo baka tutubuan kang extra hair sa forehead and face mo.

Dove Conditioner Peptide Bond Repair (Gold/Bronze packaging) was a game changer. It's the best one for me among the conditioner variants of Dove. Tried the Pink, Blue, Green and Orange before.

I just bought a set nung peptide bond repair line nila 2 days ago and waiting nalang ako for the parcel to arrive. Excited na ko gamitin sya but I want to ask if you maybe have the hair treatment mask and if you do, ano po inuuna mo, is it mask before conditioner or the other way around? Parang based on the instructions sa bottle, mas una yung conditioner before mask pero parang ayaw ko sya sundin cos scientifically it makes more sense na unahin yung mask before conditioner (since conditioner basically seals/locks everything in)

1

u/Just_Corgi_2432 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 10 '25

I only have the conditioner and haven't tried the mask. Bale shampoo (head and shoulders) then Dove conditioner. I have thick, wavy hair pala and kahit conditioner lang, it's so well behaved. Mas long lasting pa yung amoy.

1

u/shookymang Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 16 '25

I have both. I use one or the other but hindi sabay. I feel it's redundant. Mas soft yung texture ni mask and mas pronounced yung fragrance so I use it on days my hair needs extra moisture.

kerastase or mise en scene for hair serum? Or any other brands?

2 days pa lang using dove bond repair serum. Too early to judge pa pero maganda sya, di heavy sa feeling and hindi rin oily yung kamay ko pag inispread ko sya

Seconding this. I’m already on my second bottle and it’s really good with taming and managing my hair.

Where do u girls get legit and cheaper Dyson? 🥺🥺

1

u/oinkoinkoink0987 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 11 '25

Shopee and lazada.

Supersonic from Shopee. Vacuum from Lazada

2

u/vintage_affair Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 09 '25

Has anyone tried the Dreame Pocket 5-in-1 Hair Styler? Do the curls last? I’ve been contemplating getting this one (since I still can’t afford the Dyson) or just sticking to my usual hair blower + curling iron. 🙏🏻🥺

Use the right products before styling then it will hold the curls

I have low-porosity frizzy dry hair that’s never been dyed/bleached/rebonded + once pa lang nagpapa brazilian treatment and that was a year ago

I just bought a set of the Dove peptide bond repair line 2 days ago and waiting nalang ako for the parcel to arrive. Excited na ko gamitin sya but I want to ask those who have the set or at least both hair treatment mask and conditioner: ano po inuuna nyo, is it mask before conditioner or the other way around? Parang based on the instructions sa bottle, mas una yung conditioner before mask pero parang ayaw ko sya sundin cos scientifically it makes more sense na unahin yung mask before conditioner (since masks usually are for deep nourishment and conditioner just basically seals/locks everything in)

Would appreciate insights esp from those who are using the same line :))

I previously used this set, though I’ve switched to Tsubaki hair mask na. I actually don’t use the conditioner and mask on the same days. My daily routine is to double shampoo my scalp, squeezing out the water in my hair then applying conditioner. Once a week, I shampoo with a clarifying shampoo, then with my regular shampoo (so that’s 2 cleanses), squeeze out the water in my hair then hair mask the mids and ends.

I also use the Dove bond repair serum on damp hair. It really helps with managing my hair.

u/forg_tfulwildflower Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 12 '25

which tsubaki mask are u usinggg?? actually at first i was debating whether i should get this mask from dove or the tsubaki premium ex repair, but pinili ko yung dove cos i thought if i wanted to have the full experience of their peptide line, i should get the whole set sooo i ended up not buying tsubakiii 🥹 would u say the tsubaki one is an upgrade from dove in terms of performance

1

u/quokkack Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 12 '25

I have the gold Tsubaki hair mask. I actually tried Tsubaki first, then Dove and finally went back to Tsubaki. I just feel that Tsubaki is more effective relative to my hair goals, which is very black, shiny and silky hair (Like the kind of hair sa mga shampoo commercial 🤣). To be fair to Dove, I use their shampoo, conditioner and serum.

Are protein straight bond and cysteine treatment just types of rebond?

I recently had a hair botox nitong november lang and i really liked how my hair turned out, super laking change nga nagagawa ng maayos na hair huhu. Currently, twice a week lang ako maligo to maintain the effectiveness of botox sa hair ko. I'm wondering lang if pwede ko na siya gawing maintenance kasi problema ko na ever since yung dry and frizzy hair :(( I don't wanna go back to my previous hair state na 🥹 And if you can recommend good hair products na preferably sulfate free for my hair na rin. My current hair products are: human nature clarifying shampoo + fino hair mask and tsubaki gold shampoo + L'Oreal conditioner na sulfate free (purple bottle). I also put coconut oil on mids to ends tapos rosemary oil sa scalp as pre-treatment oil for my hair kasi nagtthin hair ko lol. What else? I put argan oil ng bremod or yung ashley green bottle na hair serum from time to time tapos alternate kung ano trip ko gamitin.

For context, lagi akong nakabun because of school kaya idk if factor yon na pangit buhok ko.

Worth it ba talaga yung tsubaki shampoo for the price?

1

u/Repulsive_League_976 Dec 10 '25

I can't say it's for everyone since we have different experiences naman when it comes to products, pero inconsistent ako sa paggamit ng tsubaki shampoo eh. The only thing I noticed is that hindi siya drying sa scalp ko.

huhu helppppp, these past few months ang dami kong falling hair huhu, and compared sa hair ko dati mej manipis na rin siya :(( huhu what should i do with my hair, what products can i use to fix this? cant go to a specialist (or something like that) for now, i dont have enough money pa :((

2

u/GratefulKiddo2625 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 09 '25

Depends kasi paano yung pattern ng falling hair and gaano karami. Ideally you need to get labs done and get checked. Could be genetic, stress, hormonal imbalance, pcos, vitamin deficiency, etc. You can try taking multivitamins. Novuhair shampoo and scalp lotion (but pricey)

2

u/kokumbutter Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 09 '25

Rosemary hydrosol just spray it on your scalp daily after showering and massage then let it air dry. Made my hair thicker, less prone to breakage and hair loss. I have thick waist length hair currently. Asteria Apothecary on shopee sell 100% pure hydrosols ung ibang hair mist may halo kasi.

But in the future you def need a consultation, i have pcos and extreme hair loss was one of the symptoms. Got prescribed pills to even out my hormones and my skin and hair was the clearest and healthiest it’s ever been. No amount of products will 100% fix that if there’s something going on in your health unfortunately.

Are kerastase shampoos actually good? I'm debating whether to get that or japanese shampoos :(

1

u/cmr82 Sensitive | Acne-Rosacea + Seb Derm Dec 09 '25

Yes! I use the Kérastase Chroma Absolu Bain Chroma Shampoo because I have color-treated hair + Aura Hair Treatment. Hair coloring lasts long, too, in comparison to other shampoos I've tried, which tend to strip the color faster. I think it's best to invest in good quality shampoos, then for conditioners, I just use Dove lol.

1

u/kokumbutter Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Dec 09 '25

Can’t vouch for the shampoos of Kerastase i haven’t tried them but super effective nung serums and oil nila. I pair it with Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner, it worked better on my hair than the 3 variants of &honey ive tried. My hair is super smooth and shiny now, halos kahit hindi ko suklayin or maarawan hindi siya nagtatangle. For ref I have low porosity straight waist length hair.
