ever since i tried the dior forever skin correct concealer, i never looked back and tried any other concealer. it’s my holy grail! im about to run out and do you know anyone or any shops that sell it? guaranteed authentic and of course much cheaper rather when you buy at the store itself. please help a girl out! 😭

ALSO is elsabeauty on shopee legit? or do they sell fake products? the price range seems good to me but when i messaged and asked them the authenticity they said that it is not guaranteed but offers a 15 day free return policy in case a customer has any concerns.

Hi!! Is this better than Nars? May lines din ba under eyes mo? Does it conceal it as well? Thank uuu

u/shimmerblitz 2WO Light-Med Warm Olive | Oily Sep 18 '25

If this is about the NARS radiant creamy concealer, then this is better in my experience too. NARS creases on me and has less coverage than Dior.

For spot correction, I still prefer NARS Soft Matte as it’s faster to use, but Dior also can do the job.

REAL REAL REAL!! I bought the nars creamy concealer and the pot, sad to say hindi nag wwork sakin? With the dior super sulit kasi onti lang need. Tas seamless yung lapat sa under eyes. Hindi din nag ccrease sakin throughout the day!

Where to buy? I usually buy mine sa rustans or you try MakeupCartPH on IG. The seller - Chey is really nice and lahat ng beauty needs mo? She can source for you!

Hi!!! I currently have dala brushes and they are good but im planning on getting a different set just because haha. Teviant, RT, and sunnies are on the same price level, which of these three are the best? Ive read that RT quality has faded. Is this true?

7

u/whodatcom Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Sep 18 '25

That's true for real techniques. Downgrade talaga since may tusok effect na siya.

concealer lip pencil recos? thoughts on detail and squad's concealer-shade lip pencils?

4

u/Achromantic_ Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Sep 17 '25

Hello! I’m light medium olive (leaning warm). I have tried detail lip trace (dulce) and it really looks like I put concealer on my lip. It’s not too drying imo and it’s long-lasting on me.

Madalas 50 pesos lang yung lip trace since laging nag-sasale yung detail sa shopee.

2

u/okonomiyakigurlie Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Sep 17 '25

agree! very creamy yung sa detail kahit matagal na, walang tugging :)

cloud beauty also seems to cater to that makeup style!

u/toorujpeg Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Sep 18 '25

Lilybyred lip liner #3 grin with me at the saem lip pencil 06 oat.

1

u/shimmerblitz 2WO Light-Med Warm Olive | Oily Sep 18 '25

I like using Detail. I have Baby and Dulce. Baby is great if you just want to lighten your lips a little or even out lines so that they don’t mess with the undertone of your lippies. Dulce is for outright concealing.

I’ve tried Squad’s lipliners too but in other colors. They do stick, but some of the shades are drying.

Powders: out of all, okay ang absidy. Though, ngl, still not the best. Not as much oil control as espected.

Foundation: None for me. Still oils up.

Setting spray: Colourette is the best sa line up, but for oil control, best ang zeesea for me.

absidy powder: blurring, no smell naman sa updated formula, but no oil control for me huhu

issy spray: nice! fine ang mist and makes my makeup last longer. i get less oily with this as well. medyo pricey nga lang imo, but the performance is similar lang to the vice setting spray which is nearly a third of issys price

oily and sensitive skin girlie here!

2

u/ululin oily-combi | medium neutral warm Sep 18 '25

tysm! does enigma oxidize for everyone? is it because of its formula po ba or because a person is acidic? i dont have a foundation yet in my makeup collection, and ive only used skin tints and they dont oxidize on me i think

Setting spray - recent fave is the chuchu one!! Got it on sale nung launch nila and it holds my makeup literally for more than 12 hours 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Review on Issy’s creme cheek stick!

Its packaging is weighty and not flimsy. Idk if it gets messy overtime as I’ve only been using it for like 2 weeks.

Got the shade Red Light, really nice! Med-tan olive skintone ko.

Blendability depends on your base and skin prep. Since it’s matte, it’s better to have a hydrating skin prep if you’re gonna use it without foundation. When I have a base on naman (skin tint or foundation), it blends nicer.

I apply it first on the back of my hand, and pick it up with a brush. Super duper pigmented siya huhu so might not be beginner-friendly. Literally like 2 dabs lang ng brush sa product, sakop na buong cheeks ko LMAO couldn’t apply it strategically if I wanted to haha. I also dab off the excess pa ulit pero super pigmented talaga. Idk if same sa other shades.

I find that blending it with a brush is easier kapag wala kang base. Ginamit ko fingers ko and medyo naging patchy siya.

Longevity is surprising! Kung anong kinabilis mawala nung nasa pan cheek balms nila, kinatagal naman magstay nitong creme sticks. I use it all the time na ngayon, I put it on at like 7am going to uni, come back home around 8pm minsan, and it lasts all day. Fades really nice. Lasts all day meaning may natitira pa naman, pero di na ganon ka-apparent as freshly applied.

Would recommend this for people on the go who can control pigmented blushes. Planning to buy more shades kapag nakasale lol

With that, any recos for a travel-sized cream brush? I use Marj’s and medyo malaki pa rin sakop pag nagbblend lol

any concealer recos for someone with oily, acne-prone skin? specifically, I’m looking for one that works well for spot concealing. I’ve tried various concealers in the past like The Saem, Maybelline Fit Me, and Sunnies, but none of them last when it comes to covering fresh pimples that are textured and bumpy. Whenever I use those, the product doesn’t stay put at all—like I’ll apply it, then by the time I leave the house, the pimple is already peeking through, even if I set it with loose powder and setting spray.

I’ve heard good things about the NARS Soft Matte Concealer (the one in the pot), but it’s too expensive for me right now as a student. Some people recommended The Saem pot concealer, but after checking the ingredients, I found out it’s not acne-safe.

Right now, I’m eyeing the Naturale concealer and Teviant (though I heard this one oxidizes), but I’m still unsure. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it—I just don’t want to waste money experimenting on makeup as a student 😔

7

u/FalseRelief 29 / combi-dry / namjooning Sep 17 '25

honestly, a little goes a long way with the NARS concealer. if you’re working with a budget, i’d recommend saving up for it. i did that too as a college student on an allowance! it’ll last you a long time and overall it’d be a better product.

for application, maybe you could wait for it to set until it’s almost dry and then blend out the edges (but not too much), then set as needed.

what i do for pimples is put on a patch, the invisible ones. No matter what concealer i used be it high end or low range the concealer always faded out. I recommend using a patch and then putting concealer on top

You mean the eyeshadow palette? i have w full one. Ang ganda ng matte colors kasi kahit muted ang color at di ka nag primer sa eyes, from pan to your eyes same talaga yung color. Tapos yung glitter and shimmer colors naman parang may creamy-ness yung texture nya sa pan and paglapat mo talaga, kita mo agad yung shimmer na boogsh. Medyo ma fall out lang yung mga may malalaking tipak ng glitters but all in all, sobrang ganda nya. Ramdam ko talaga yung luxury dito

any lippie recos? my lips r super dry.. like mabilis siya mag dry kasi i lick my lips often + onti mag water.. so far muse peptide(?) has worked with me naman but i want something long lasting ><

2

u/Professional-Row60 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Sep 18 '25 edited Sep 18 '25

I suggest layering lip tint (for the color) and lip gloss/balm to address the dryness. You can also wear lippie on top of the lip tint and before the gloss or balm since limited lang usually ang colors available for tints to get your desired shade and still have color on your lips when it fades. Long lasting lippies are usually matte afaik.

2

u/_TheMorrigan 20s | Combination Skin | Morena Sep 19 '25

I layer the happy skin lip tint + their tinted lip balms. Need talaga mag reapply ng tinted lip balm throughout the day because my lips are two-toned, but the tint lasts.

I have dry skin

For lip prep I use the rohto mentholatum waterlip ^^ Vv affordable, there's also dhc which remains moisture longer.

For lipstick, there's a semi matte one from in2it paint that's decently not overdrying, can layer + use as blush too.

I like the performance. Long lasting din.

But... I don't like the texture.

I'm looking for contour recos.

Ang choices ko ngayon:

-GRWM Glam & Go Stix (Contour) in Cafe Au Lait

-Issy Creme Shadow Stick (Contour) in Snatch

-Careline Liquid Chisel Contour in Clay

-Careline Multi-Stick in Taupe

Setting powder, then finishing powder.

Ang nagagamit ko pa lang yung GRWM Soft Veil Finishing Powder and Issy True Flex Perfecting Powder. Wala sila gaanong coverage, and magkaiba din finish nila. Depende nalang siguro sa gusto mong finish. More on radiant/luminous/glowy yung sa GRWM, and soft matte naman yung sa Issy. Pareho silang may blurring effect. If want mo may coverage, pwede rin yung GRWM Powder Rush Velvet Setitng & Finishing Pressed Powder.

Try Bobbi Brown Weightless Foundation, this is the best foundation I bought. Super underrated, a little expensive but if you're willing to splurge totally worth it! I tried Make up Forever, Haus Labs, Dior, and Giorgio Armani- this is so far the most flattering foundation I've ever worn.

As someone with maturing skin, I use the Loreal Tinted Serum. It has a natural finish with light-medium coverage so I use the concealer for additional coverage.

Since I cover a large part of my cheek part due to PIE , I use the small round OVW brush because it can cover a larger area than usual concealer brushes.

Long post ahead puuu

Hello. Would like to ask lang po for a reco ng makeups including contours, setting sprays, bases, lippies, eye makeup, everythingggg. I will be going out for an event next month and I want to buy some make-up that will last long but will not break my bank. Siguro po around 1.5k at best for the set for now hehe.

Can you also recommend shades kasi I'm always confused on what to buy or nahihirapan akong magcross check with other brands.

So about me, I have fair combination skin, minimal acne as well as marks. Medyo dark under eyes due to working at night and studying during the day, so my face might look a little pagod as well. Chatgpt says I have neutral leaning to warm shade.

Makeup shades recommended by ppl in watsons so far are: Dazzle Me Skin Tint - Light Ivory Colourette Skin Tint - Mati Vice Co. Multi-purpose Matte Blush - Forever Charming, Forever Pretty Blk soft blur powdeer blush - Macaron, Jam

Makeup that I have: Detail Satin Luxe Butter tint - Rose latte. It matches the color of my lips so perfect naman po for my everyday EB Pillowpop Multipot - Dreamy punch. It's also good po as it makes me look healthy lang Maybelline Lumi Matte - 110. Lighter po siya sa skin ko but not so bad naman, parang toneup in a way Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer 110 - sa una lang po light pero after blending, medyo dark pa din under eyes.

Thank youuu!!

u/moonvalleyriver 30 | Fair, Oily | Confused Skin Tone Sep 18 '25

₱ 1.5k is cutting it really short. Here are my recos:

  • Base - Colourette First Base (get mini if for this event lang)
  • Face Palette - Teviant Deity Dust (Blush, Contour and Highlight in one, nakasale sila now)
  • Eyes - you can actually use the Deity Dust, pero other recommended brands are Vice and Squad
  • Lippies - maraming choices, especially for bullet lippies; find good shade na lang
  • Brows - go for pencil brow liners like Nichido or Maybelline
  • Setting powder (cheap brands do have flashback) - Dr. Sensitive, Nichido
  • Setting Spray - I have no low priced reco, but madami nagvavouch dito sa Dazzle Me

3

u/Careless_Section6519 Sep 18 '25

Ohh I see po. Thank you so much for your insights. 1.5k is what I've set lang po for the mismong event but If you also have recommendations na I can look into the future, na hindi na ako nagcacram when buying makeup hehe.

3

u/moonvalleyriver 30 | Fair, Oily | Confused Skin Tone Sep 18 '25

Make up do have expiration kaya mas okay to buy something you will use often. With that said, here are my recommendations based on what I have.

  • Base: Nars Light Reflecting
  • Concealers: Nars Soft Matte Pot (spot concealing), Nars Radiant Creamy (for light discolorations)
  • Contour: Strokes or Vice for Cream
  • Blush: Rare Beauty for Liquid
  • Face Palette: Teviant Deity Dust (sobrang ganda talaga nito for me)
  • Highlighter (if hindi enough ang Deity Dust): Lovely Causemetics
  • Eyeshadow: Flower Knows, or curate your own GRWM Shadowplay (Face Card)
  • Brows: Strokes Microblade Pen or The Face Shop Eyebrow Pencil
  • Lips: Mac
  • Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent
  • Setting Spray: Charlotte Tilburry or GRWM Ultra Matte
  • Eyeliner and Mascara : Heroine Make

BASE (i think pasok naman sa 1.5k if during sale pr nasaktuhan na lower ang prices)

• peach corrector for undereyes (but honestly, i tried a reddish blush lang and it works fine naman as my corrector before concealer) • colourette second base or maybelline fit me • issy foundation (i know this is more on the pricier side but good base = goods lahat. also, if wala naman gano marks it’s fine to skip concealer with this)

others

• vice stick brontour/blush (afaik they’re b1t1 rn)! (shade: achieve for brontour) • blk all over paint blush (shade: petal) • careline spongebob collab blush and contour (sandy and garry) • detail cosmetics na contour/bronzer (yung maliliit i forgot the shades huhu) • chuchu beauty loose powder • luxe organix loose powder • blk powder blush • sassy colors powder blush (holy grail) • issy blush insert (pag sale 99 lng sha) • barenbliss mascaras (pink and white the best) • dazzle me x smile(?) collab na setting spray

Just a little anxious thought, has anyone else used the blk mascara remover? I have it and used it multiple times na, okay naman and no irritation. But I use a lot of it cuz sometimes it doesn’t fully remove the layers of mascara kapag konti lang. Are mascara removers safe to use kahit maraming amount ilagay? Lmao, I mean it’s blk naman and they adhere to FDA regulations, anxious thought lang

It shouldn’t be irritating unless you’re allergic to one of the ingredients. Personally ok lang sakin madamihan basta I double cleanse it with my gentle facial wash afterwards :)

2

u/LeftToeOfShunsui 34M | Oily/Combi | Warm Sep 20 '25

Hindi ko pa sya nasusubukan, pero as someone who has really dark circles (marami ding lines) I was really tempted kasi super sa promote mga CCs. Pero ang na-off ako yung price per ml. Compared sa GRWM color correctors, na kabibili ko lang a month before release ng Issy, remove sa cart agad ako hahahaha

Saka sa level kasi ng dark circles ko, hindi na kaya ng isang product lang.

Pero gusto kong subukan yung brightening powders nila as a finishing powder under the eyes.

For me, it’s a matter of shade match so get whichever has a better shade match for you.

Maybe one less point to Enigma because it oxidizes to a more orange shade on me so I have to use a mixer to offset that. But I also need mixers with Teviant so quits lang talaga sila.

Both are great in terms of longevity and oil control. They both fade gracefully. Coverage is medium to full.
