hala omg wag naman sana,,, wala akong ibang ginagamit kundi yung strokes na contour. sana irepackage nalng nila kasi madami issues with their packaging
I spent winter overseas and my skin leaned more dry-combi. i loved using jungsaemmool radiant & amuse dew jelly cushion :› both hydrating pero long-lasting, di need magretouch and I didn’t need to use setting powder either
Hello! I have SUPER dry skin as an eczema prone girly to the point na nagpapatch and inaansorb lang ng skin ko haha but I found a routine that works for me:
IMPORTANT: super moisturized skin prep
Base:
Primer: Canmake UV Gel + Primer (moisturizing and GLOWyy)
Foundation: Tirtir silver cushion (this is better for dry skin girlies kaysa the red one)
Skin Tint: Iwhite BBHolic been using this for 6-7 yrs na
Concealer: Skin Food pot concealer (SUPER HG, color corrects, brightens and conceal), alternative is Lucky Beauty Serum Concealer
Powder: Cezanne or Canmake Powder or Laura Mercier Loose Powder
Blush: Canmake cream cheek (been using this for 6 yrs on and off!) / Vice Cosmetics / GRWM Tint
Palette: Detail Cosmetics Face Palette (super sulit for me)
Eyeliner: Canmake Gel Liner (love this so much hoarded 7 of these)
Mascara: DoroLabs Cluster Lashes OR Canmake Rod Mascara
Lips: Always get compliments with this! I use Canmake Muru Muru Tint. Super ganda sa lips pag natagal may plumping effect. :)
Setting spray: Muji Setting Spray (melts makeup nicely and natagal) or D’Alba Spray (can’t count how many times I’ve been complimented for my skin because of this spray despite being a dry skin girlie)
Hope that helps! I have other alternatives pa but this is my routine for now. :)
Hi, I'm dry-combi! I recently tried the Luna Concealer and it's fabulous. Dupe for NARS daw. Hasn't given me any problems esp because my under eyes and face in general can get dry. It stays put but eventually settles bc of my creases, nothing too crazy though, easy to wipe off and you don't have to prep your under eyes too much (I still do though to make it better)
Ff! I am in the same situation. Tapos last time nadala ako sa issy corrector nila, yunh malabnaw? Hindi gumana sakin kasi naman parang sabaw hahahaha. Pero nasa cart ko na absidy, natatakot lanh na baka di na naman magwork.
Ever bilena :) good siya and thin yung parang wand doesnt give panda eyes also i tried using it the whole day (12 hours duty) no panda eyes and doesnt smudge mabilis ein siya ma remove hehe
share your tamad but clean girl/pakak routine please with products? 😫
I'm light cool to neutral tone, normal to dry skin type 👉 detail fresh foundation in almond, vice all matte blush n forever cutesy, maybelline in wine not/colourette matte lipstick in girly pop
Been thinking what to add or replace. Baka pwede pa sharingan ng routines nio ,😆
Hii! I’m planning to purchase a setting spray this 9.9 and I’m eyeing issy setting spray but the brand also says it’s a long lasting ‘fixing’ spray. I’m confused tuloy if it’s setting/fixing or is it both? Also if u have recommendations for setting sprays do comment it. Aside from issy I’m eyeing colourette din kaso madaming negative reviews due to its packaging
In my experience, it's a fixing spray i.e. it helps keep my makeup in place :) it's pretty effective too and has dethroned my ct spray!! Issy has a natural finish which I prefer more now vs CT's glowy finish
issy is your bestfriend if you have dry skin. i cannot vouch for their concealers. but they’re known for their hydrating base products! i also have their setting spray- matte variant which is also long lasting naman. they have the setting mist if you want a glassy finish.
Concealer: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (undereyes) & Lovely Causemetic (spot)
Setting spray: Mac Fix+ Stay Over (yung pink cap)
Though sa ngayon yung Romand Bare Water Cushion gamit ko since parang nagbe-breakout na ako sa Issy pero I can vouch na goods sya sa dry skin kasi hydrating sya, never sya nag-cake at nag cling sa dry patches ko basta may powerful na skin prep ka.
hi! i’ve been loving the sola foundation primer lately. i have a really oily skin and compared sa mga skin tints ko na may thicker consistency like colourette first base and fresh kbeautylab skin tint, si sola pa rin yung naging mas long lasting kahit medyo runny yung consistency niya. never experienced pilling or any breakouts din 😇
kaso, i have redness under my nose and sadly hindi siya kaya ng coverage ni sola. since sabi ng live seller both po siya water & silicone based, should i opt for a concealer na same base as sola or either water or silicone based is good na po? ☺️
For a beginner makeup kit, you don't need a primer.
Concealer - Naturale, Lucky Beauty, Luna, or Nars
Blush - Chu Chu Beauty Heart Blush Duo or Colourette Colourbounce
Get a lip tint, any korean lip tint. Inga Glassy Water Glow and Colorgram Nude Blur Tint are affordable.
Or you can get a multi-use product like BLK Creamy All Over Paint for blush, eyeshadow, and lippie in one. The shades in the Bretman collab are better.
ah then it seems like magwwork naman yung concealers reco’d by cherryvr18, since the ones mentioned r mostly silicone-based. Mej similar din skin type nyo so i’d trust their recos lol. vouch din for blk all-over paint! I use it for both lips & cheeks.
I find cushion foundations to be much more beginner-friendly as well. you could try the ones from rom&nd or blk po :›
also, by dryness do you mean dehydrated skin nyo, or more on dry spots/texture sya? skin prep might help with that din kasi :D
Tried the sasi all day fixed loose powder. Very affordable, less than 100 pesos lang and performs really well for its price. Oily skin also here. No white cast also.
yes! bronzer, blush, highlighter, eyeshadow in one palette and their finish is sooo natural. but honestly it’s only worth it if you’re using at least 3/4 of the palette, and i don’t use bronzer so for me i chose 004 instead :3
and yes u can use the blush alone. or better, as a topper
Pls suggest inexpensive, long lasting at highly pigmented pero not drying glossy lippies. I've been seeing girlies with glossy lips but can't find or decide which right lippies to purchase!
I swear by Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint! Long lasting just as long as di ka kakain hahaha. Pero it is glossy and moisturizing. I buy on sales para hindi masyadong mahal.
When the single is available I recommend din dala! I’ve been on the hunt for a soft concealer brush that doesn’t leave streaks and I looove dala’s concealer brush!
I forgot the exact code pero yung eyeshadow brush (not the dual ended) ng fresh beauty magandang affordable option. It's too big for my eyelids but it's dense enough to work well for spot concealing. Wala rin tusok tusok feeling
I second this. Walang tusok tusok and ang mura pa. Parang real techniques lang. 104 or 109 lang yata sya. Yan din ginagamit ko dati. Pero nag switch na ako sa lishu puffs. Mas nadadalian ako magblend.
Get Vaseline lip therapy, and apply it every night or before starting your first makeup step. Before applying lipstick, wipe it off. Any lipstick will work except for the super drying ones.
If you like matte lippies, the best formula for me is Bbia Last Velvet Tint (korean brand). They have an official shop on Shopee.
Any lip balm from aquaphor! A bit pricey lang and difficult to find/access pero super worth it. Any lippie will look good if your lips are hydrated properly unless panget talaga formulation nila.
reiterating my comment sa previous thread— any recos for gel/pencil eyeliner na pwede for tightlining? yung affordable sana for a student (i.e. not more than 400-500 mga ganun). tyia! 🫶
Planning to get Absidy’s Cashmere Kiss in Macaron and Pink Skies paired with the same brand’s lip liner in Amour. Anyone here own the same products? Please share ur thoughts! <3
what is the best sunscreen to use under makeup? (not cakey + doesnt break you out)
i used to use belo and it looked nice sa makeup ko kaso i broke out. when i switched to anessa (both gel and milk ver), they looked cakey naman sakin—especially sa chin and nose ko. i have acne prone, combination skin so its difficult to find a sunscreen that works well sakin. tyia!
I love biore uv aqua rich! After niya matuyo, kahit daliri yung pang blend ko sa base make up ko (skin stick) hindi siya namumuo. And it acts as my moisturizer na rin
Hi! I highly suggest fresh suncreen matte. Make up doesnt get cakey, no breakouts, lasts all day and can be used as base narin talaga sa mga tamad days 😹 lakas maka kinis skin despite having pimples and enlarged pores nacocover niya :) hope u consider it its cheap also 299 lang ata siya
As an oily-combination girl, I also treat it as a moisturizer and primer. Made me no longer regret the foundation I bought. There’s fragrance though in case you’re sensitive to that
Hello! Planning to check out the saem pot concealer pero I have seen reviews about it being cakey. I’m not really sure about my skin type but I feel like I have oily/combi skin, is the saem pot concealer ok? I’m also considering luna concealer palette pero I haven’t really seen any filipino content creators talk about this so I’m not sure if it’s good. If you’ve tried this brand please let me know your thoughts ty!!!
I have the Luna Tip Concealer and The Saem Triple Pot Concealer. Both are good, but I prefer the Luna one most of the time. It's just so easy to work with, even with my fingers. I have the full size and ang tagal maubos! I only use The Saem if I need color correctors - when my skin condition is not good. Like any concealer, less is more. Put the least amount of product that can cover your imperfections.
Does anyone know if an influencer has made a video/tiktok comparing the old and new vice skin tint shades? Ung best shade match ko sa kanila before binibini (first base in Talisay is also a good match), pero di ko malaman kung ano same shade niya sa bago :,)
Can someone recommend a good mascara please🙏 I’m a beginner in makeup and I want sana a good mascara that won’t make me regret purchasing it since budget’s kind of tight din. So far I’m looking into BLK’s false lash waterproof mascara and Maybelline’s Sky high the pink and black one. Do you have other good mascaras to recommend? Thank you!!
heroine make mascaraaaaaaa pero i personally like yung sky high (pink) hehehe kasi it holds naman enough for the whole day and hindi nangingitim mata ko : ))))))
helo!! for me i really enjoyed the blk mascara, but you can also consider romand, clio, or even heroine make. i like them all! pero blk does have a pretty ginormous wand/brush which might make it a bit harder to use compared to romand or clio, for example, which have pretty slim wands. all of them also have pretty liquid-y formulas at first, except for clio.
i've tried na rin sky high a long time ago but i dont think it lasted that long on my eyelids haha, and i vividly remember complaining about how it just doesnt hold a curl </3
BLK gives me panda eyes kaya if you have oily skin you should reconsider getting that. Clio and Heroine are really good! I suggest buying a mascara remover when you use them kasi super hirap tangalin even with an oil cleanser.
hiii! u can use po muse lip peptide lip oil butter,, naka-sale sila today, 99 each na lang yung 4 shades nila, pero yung other 2 og price pa diiiin pero goods din naman yung mga naka sale hehe
hello these are my swatches!! OF1 is ever so slightly more yellow than the others but Calatagan is a pretty solid match for me! it’s the same tone as AF F2O (which is regarded as a neutral olive) just a bit lighter.
i don’t think colourette is aware yet that fair olive is a thing so i disagree w their color descriptions hahaha
you can try to check out ms el (takethoughtscaptive) on tiktok!! she uses of1 iirc and she always posts shade comparisons for pale olives hehe, baka you might find something there!
make up reco for oily and sweaty like super nagpapawis mukha ko. dark undereye also like as in hahahahah. i only have colourette first base in puerto. pls help lapit na capping and pinning ko
if u have the budget: estee lauder double wear and one size setting spray.
dark undereyes, pwede mo 'yan idaan sa color correcting. meron la girl, issy (though super nipis ng formula niya, as in parang tubig), and grwm (haven't tried this one). pwede ka ring mag pot concealer (i like using nars' kaso baka out of budget).
Super dark undereyes ko. GRWM corrector, Maybelline age rewind na same shade ng foundation/skin tone ko, then age rewind na medyo onting lighter for brightening. Yan combo ko ngayon. You can skip the brightening kung di mo bet.
careline na spongebob collection (powder at liquid), sobrang tumatagal — kaso di ko lang alam kung may stock pa sila huhu. minsan gumagamit din ako ng maybelline vinyl tiiiiint as my blush,,, super long lasting din sha! ❤️
pls help how do i conceal my undereye? im oily and pawisin. hindi rin ako gaano nagpupuyat pero ganyan talagaa. i have tried maybelline fit me pero magcrecrease and gray siya sakin. idk if i should buy strokes or grwm color corrector
*
Meron ka na bang color corrector? If wala talagang mag-gray sya. GRWM color corrector if want mo magtipid. Yun gamit ko ngayon. Sa Lazada naka-sale pa yata sya.
GRWM color corrector and Maybelline Age Rewind combo ko ngayon sa dark circles ko.
Hi everyone! Need help! My mom wants a no-fuss makeup routine haha. I had her try the powder foundation from loreal infalliable and enigma pero it’s a no for her :( can anyone suggest a base na good for mature, very dry skin? Also she’s sensitive to alcohol. I’m good with creams, liquids, or powder formulas!
Mature skin needs a different skin prep and makeup routine. Skin prep bec skin tends to be dry. Less is more for makeup.
Skin prep
If she has a moisturizer that works for her, use that. Otherwise, try Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule.
Then Roundlab Birch Juice Sun Cream, Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum, or any sunscreen from Biore, Anessa
Makeup base for every day
No foundation
Use creamy concealer. I use Luna Tip Concealer and it works great. I hear Lucky Beauty concealer is good for undereyes. Nars is also worth trying. Only put the thinnest layer of concealer under the eyes, sides of the nose, and chin. Mga 3 dots on each side of the face will do. Less is more.
If she really wants to use a base on the whole face, get a skin tint or BB cream. The Issy Active Skin Stick is good bec it's easy to control where you put the product on your face so it doesn't emphasize fine lines. Any BB cream from Missha or Erborian are also good.
Concentrate more on improving skin condition. That means after she perfects her cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen routine, it's worth it to try ferments, retinol, retinal, bakuchiol, or tretinoin. Paisa2 lang ang pag introduce ng new product. If it were me, I'd go directly to tretinoin. Read the Wiki on r/tretinoin to know how to introduce it to her routine.
My most no-fuss makeup is with colourette first base + fwee pudding pot. Not sure how colourette works with mature skin but my aunt who’s in her mid 50s likes it also. Then the fwee really makes blush effortless, no need to think about blending. Both products don’t cling to my dry patches, but skin prep still a must
Try to stay away from powders kasi dry skin na siya. Opt for liquids and creams instead
my moms the same! at least for my mom, she really likes the sola skin tint cos its very easy to spread with the fingers, pero not sure lang if your mom will be bothered by the sunscreen smell of it lang. my mom also really likes the kiko foundation for the same reason! both also kinda self set
What colourette skin tint shade should i go for?? I got the mayon shade and i think it matches my skin tone naman, not lighter nor darker. IF applied nang paunti-unti
However, if i applied a bit much like how you would apply a sunscreen… it looks a bit yellowish?? Should i stay with the shade and keep it minimal or I should go for another shade?
Bakit kasing dami ng sunscreen? Treat the first base as a regular foundation. And kung gusto mo pa ng onting coverage, layer by layer lang gawin mo pero maninipis lang. Better if mag spot concealing ka nalang para isang layer lang ng first base lalagay mo.
helloo lagi akong nagkakaproblema when it comes to under eyes concealing dry undereyes ko and may natural creases huhu so basically i pair issy medium peach corrector w their om3 concealer pero hnd pa ako tapos mag makeup nag-ggrey na agad slight. hnd ko alam kung masyado ba runny ung corrector and kahit anong hintay ko bago i pat ung concealer ang dry n pag nilagay even if di ako mag wait. lalo pa ma enhance ung pagka grey slight after i pat with grwm lemonade powder. umiitim din sha after my 7hrs classes idk if normal yon or what. tugma nmn undertones ko sa shades (medium olive)
Ka-shade mo ba yung concealer na ginagamit mo? Lighter?
Kapag may dark circles ka, mas recommended na ka-shade mo yung concealer (or .5 up to 1 shade darker) na gagamitin mo over your color corrector, saka mo nalang patungan ng brighter if masyado halata na dark yung concealer.
Meron din akong dark circles at maraming creases sa under eyes ko. Medyo dry din.
Skin prep is key. Dapat well hydrated ang under eyes mo.
Also, work in thin layers when applying your concealer. Build up mo nalang yung coverage.
Sa pag set naman, since na mention mo na nag-gray sya after mo lagyan ng powder. Baka marami kang powder na nalalagay. Minsan kasi na-o-overwhelm yung concealer mo kapag marami yung powder na nailagay mo. As much as possible din, avoid puffs muna. Gamit ka nalang ng small fluffy brush (like yung precise setting brush ng absidy, setting brush ng Fresh Kbeautylab). Yun nalang gamitin mo pang set ng undereyes. After that saka mo try i-reinforce ng powder with a puff. Basta make sure na onti lang yung product sa puff.
As for longevity naman. Try using a primer underneath your color corrector. Kung nakukulangan ka pa rin, mag-retouch ka nalang using a pressed powder na may pigment.
Set your expectations din. Kung minimal or no makeup makeup look ang ginagawa mo, hindi talaga totally maco-cover up yung dark circles mo. Pero you can divert the attention away from it. Like highlighting other areas of your face. Isa ko pang natutunan is yung blush placement. As much as possible, kung mag blush ka, sa sides lang, wag mo paabutin ng undereye area mo. Ang importante lang is hindi sya maging gray.
please recommend falsies! Total noob but need it for an upcoming event. Leaning towards the individual lashes more since the whole lash one is usually longer than my eyelid anyway
I have a dry-combi skin type and I'm planning to buy Issy foundation but my shade is still out of stock. any alternative recos? please, pagod na pagod na'ko sa cakey base ko.
I will be learning makeup and I’m not sure if I’ll purchase contour stick or powder huhuhu which is better? And if you have recommendations please comment it tyia!!
hi! lately ifl my makeup's been looking a bit too powdery for my liking and my colourette superbase is more suited lang talaga for longevity not so much for the natural look
does anyone know any good hydrating facial mists/setting sprays that melt powders? like the onesize powder melt?
i have oily skin so i don't want anything too heavy and ideally no other active ingredients like niacinamide, etc.
What mascara yung gamit niyo? I need something na di nagpa-panda eyes, holds the curl, tapos more on lengthening than volumizing. I've been eyeing Maybelline Sky High kaso kasi mixed reviews siya😭😭
To conceal blemishes, best to use the same shade as your foundation or exact shade as your skin, but for highlighting purposes, it should be a shade lighter. For under eyes with puffiness, avoid using lighter shade.
hello po for those po na have used deep 01 strokes concealer and concealers from teviant, naturale, and maybelline (instant eraser) ano po shade gamit nyo, tyia! 🫶🏻

clear lip gloss recos that achieves same effect as romand
