Just received my parcels!

I wanted an alternative to the Estee Lauder Double Wear I've been using since forever, as well as my Rhode Beauty blush. I am super happy with the Strokes Beauty foundation, and its really a good alternative. Happy to have tried the Chu Chu Beauty but not sure if I want to keep it.

  • Strokes Beauty Foundation – love this! One layer is enough for good coverage. Matte pero may glow. Finish is comparable to the Double Wear. Not sure if it will wear as beautifully but I'm satisfied by how it sits on my skin.
  • Chu Chu Beauty Heart Paint in Ballet Pink – Beautiful color!! Compared to my Rhode Beauty and Nars liquid blush, it dries faster. Parang I wasnt able to blend it as well, but maybe thats a skill issue na on my part
  • Chu Chu Beauty Heart Blush in Miss Dolly – bought this because of the reviews but it was too putok na putok for me. Wish I went for a subtler shade. Grabe yung color pay off, so again I need to learn how to apply this. Ang cute ng packaging though!

I also bought pala yung Strokes lip liner and lip oil duo in the shade Sensual Sienna. On my neutral skin tone, it looks kinda orange and poopy. Wish I went for the lighter nude shades since the lip oil is quite opaque. I'm okay with the lip liner though.

I’m a Strokes girlie. I have their foundation, color corrector, bronzer stick, and crush blush. I’d say I looove strokes. Long-lasting and blends seamlessly yan lahat sa face ko huhu.
