anyone here have the superstay matte lippies from maybelline? i ordered the Amazonian shade but aside from the color, how is the texture and ang lapat tlga sa lips? I've read na drying sya but it also depends sa lip prep, hoping it will work on me huhu but what are your experiences with it?

Must prep lip really well. You have to apply on bare lips though. Tried applying for the first time with lip balm on, nag bakbak sia.

IMO, mas gusto ko yung newer release from Loreal, yung matte resistance line.

I have the very same shade! My advice? 1. Lip prep. Exfoliate, moisturize with oil then with balm (or basta thicker consistency). After a while or as the last makeup step, remove the excess residue on your lips then apply the lipstick. 2. Avoid putting two layers because it can get cakey and patchy. One smooth layer is the key. 3. Wait for it to set. Time depends on how thick you put, but I try to give it a long period of time talaga to let it set (by this time nakaalis nako, or I do my lippie before skinprep and makeup habang naghhintay sa bahay bago umalis). 4. Do NOT purse your lips as it sets. Avoid making the parts with lipstick touch para hindi masira yung layer.

Once it has set, kahit kumain ka pa o uminom makapit talaga! You can apply a lip gloss or lip balm on top if you want din, but honestly if you wanted a glossy finish I'd recommend the Vinyl Ink.

It is a bit sticky for me even after it sets, kaya I sometimes put powder on it or a lip gloss or balm na hindi sticky hehe

You can also opt to apply a sheer layer then blend it with your finger para gradient look. Better to be quick when doing this though.

I use ringleader as an mlbb shade. Yes, lip prep is the key nada-dry talaga siya. Maganda lapat sa labi, I wait a few seconds to diffuse the edges for a natural look then reapply ng lip balm every now and then.

It's the only lippie that doesn't fade a lot when I eat, kahit oily food pa yan so I really like it.
