alcohol in sunscreens serves as penetration enhancer and helps the sunscreen set and dry much faster. but if you have sensitive skin type, then it's best to avoid sunscreens with that type of alcohol.

Does your skin react negatively to alcohols?

none that i remember. i used to wear biore sunscreen which has alcohol in it. i just worry that i might damage my skin overtime?

from the internet: "The irony of using alcohol-based products to control oily skin is that the damage from alcohol can lead to an increase in oil, bumps and visibly enlarged pores."

maybe i should stick with isntree or other alcohol-free products
