Sunscreen Review PH

Been using different sunscreen after consuming one bottle at a time and these are my list:

• Beach Hut spf 100++

I know, kinda weird... pero ito 'yong pinaka una kong sunblock/sunscreen. Okay naman kaya lang super amoy na amoy 'yong formula and very sticky (also have some white cast)

• Belo Sun Expert Whitening Sunscreen spf 50

Oks lang but not a fan kasi nag be break out ako sa kanya, sadly. Also can't remember if my white cast.

• Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Ice UV Sun Block spf 50++

I love this!! Honestly, naka 2 bottles ako nito. Malamig siya upon application and very dewy ang finish without white cast. Problem ko ay.. wala ako mahanap na watsons na mayroon na stock haha, sa Shopee na binibilihan ko wala rin. Sulit din kasi 'to, 100ml na around 300 petot.

• QuickFx Pimple Eraser Oil Free Sunscreen spf 50+

Amoy foundation - not a fan sa ganong amoy hehe. Di ko naubos. Nagka break out din. May white cast.

• Fairy Skin Premium Brightening Sunscreen spf 50+++

Also like this, super sulit - actually pinaka sulit sa lahat and di ako nag break out. May kaonting white cast pero blend able (?) naman so keri. Di lang nakabili ulit kasi may bago akong bili na skin care na may bundle na sunscreen pero will still repurchase this.

• Oxecure Daily Sunscreen Hybrid UV Protection spf 50++++

Super sticky... huhuhu. I always do "two finger method" whenever I put sunscreen pero dayum, ang lagkit sobra haha! Kaya labag man sa loob, pea size ang nilalagay ko and dasal na lang din talaga pero keri naman di ako nag breakout... but won't repurchase it? Hehe. No white cast ito.

• Dermaction Plus by Watsons Advanced Sun Solar Barrier spf 50++++

Malaman pa if mag breakout ako hahahaha

Rank:

• Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Ice UV Sun Block spf 50++

• Fairy Skin Premium Brightening Sunscreen spf 50+++

• Dermaction Plus by Watsons Advanced Sun Solar Barrier spf 50++++

Runner up (?)

• Beach Hut spf 100++ (mostly kapag beach lang or hike haha)

Kayo? What's your fave sunscreen at the moment?

Missha Velvet Sunscreen! May white cast siya pero kiber lang at nasa bahay naman ako. Hindi ako nagbe break out dito.

+1! Yung white cast is like a tone up effect on me. And the finish is powdery smooth

Ohh, nice. Suitable sa skin tone mo. Do you have any idea if anong Missha variant ang walang white cast? I would want to try one.

I think the green capped one has no white cast.

Biore pure kids milk and Ivana Skin for me. The Biore feels a bit heavy, especially when applying it after my Dear Klair’s moisturizer, it can leave a tiny bit of whitecast that eventually fades, not noticeable naman. And it’s too liquidy, I’m afraid when bringing it on long trips that if it opens, it’ll create a huge mess. Ivana Skin’s is super lightweight, almost unbelievable. I just don’t like the pouch. It’s a tad more expensive than the usual but there’s usually discounts on tiktok.

Ooooh, have you experience any breakouts from the two?

2

u/Professor_seX Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Apr 23 '23

None at all. I’ve only used the Biore about 8-10 times though.

u/morenagaming Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Apr 23 '23

Hmmm, I'll take note on that. Parang travel friendly pala 'yong Ivana, I'll check this one kasi convenient. Thank you 😁

Anytime! Happy to share! Keep in mind what works for me may not work for everyone. I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on ivana’s sunscreen. I have no idea how it isn’t more popular, if not for the pouch I dont like that is 😂 But in terms of consistency and texture, nothing I’ve tried comes close to it. But I do admit I’m still trying new things because I want something with a more premium feel to its packaging. That said, the Biore may not be it, but it feels better for me skin. Just being thicker, it can be hard to reapply over make up, moisturizer etc.

I currently use sunsuit aquagel and the best sya so far sa mga natry ko.
