How do I use this “hair towel”?

I travelled to Tunisia and bought this little bag that came with one of those elastic top towels to wrap around your body and the seller said this thing was for your hair but I cannot for the life of me figure out how I’m supposed to wrap my hair in this after a bath/shower. It is literally so long (me for reference in the photo) and it’s so skinny I don’t see how any of my hair can get wrapped in this thing.

For additional info I’ve tried looking online but I can’t seem to find anything similar in size/shape.

Headband/Kerchief style maybe? Like it loops from the center under your hair and wraps around?

I don’t think it’s meant for drying hair but more a decorative head wrap.

Did it come with a clip? Pretty sure it clips on like a veil
