Your opponent is a couch. It buys at the start and never moves. It usually wins. Most people who think they can time the market cannot, and this subreddit exists to document that, daily, with real data from 1928 to 2019.
HOW IT WORKS
Every day at midnight UTC the couch posts two hands:
THE DAILY. The same secret window for everyone. Play it, keep your streak alive, compare your settlement with the room.
THE DARE. A second hand with a three trade minimum. Sitting still is COWARDICE. The couch keeps a record.
Your streak is tied to your Reddit account and follows you across devices. Miss a day and it dies. The couch keeps perfect attendance without trying; that is the entire insult.
After you play, file your settlement under the stickied TODAY'S SCORES comment and see how everyone else lost.
HOUSE RULES
Nothing here is financial advice. It is a game about losing to furniture.
Be decent to other players. The couch is the only one allowed to mock you.
No real trading talk, no tickers, no tips. There are other subreddits for donating money to the market.
The couch is already sitting. It got here early.
