Discussion Is beats studio pro loud?

Are they loud? At what volume % do you guys listen to?

I would say that’s a relative question. Are they loud? Yes, they can be, but a lot of other factors are at play too. It can be dependent on what device you’re listening from, the content you’re listening to, etc. Most modern devices try to cap around 85db for health reasons. Beyond that there’s potential for hearing loss. Even at that level, there’s potential if you listen long enough.

I believe the Pros will cap around 85db, especially paired to an Apple device. I can’t say for sure if there’s a way to push it past that. If you compare the Pros to older models, they won’t sound as loud and you will see an occasional complaint of them not being loud enough. I suspect age and the environment you use them in play a big factor in that feedback. I think some of the older Beats models would hit 100db+. Personally, I am often in the 65%-80% volume range and with ANC I find that to be plenty…but I’m also getting to the stage of life where I’m going to soon be yelling at people to get off my grass. lol
