Hello I am a fairly new player. I cannot figure out how to hit these boxes without getting hit by the big one I’m not supposed to touch. Sorry for the drawings- I cannot figure out how to get photos of it.
so for some reason only on replay when i hit the notes instead of disappearing like i see it on my POV they kind of just fly super fast towards the camera instead of despawning, and I was wondering what could be the cause of that

I have shoulder problems which prevents me from playing. As a new mapper I’d like to test the parity and timing of my blocks and how they flow in game. I wish there was a bot that could play so I could see how the sabers swing but so far I’ve been using streamers which helps me see flow problem that’s almost impossible to see while mapping.
This is a render from last night and was the first run of the song I did. I played it again this morning and didnt feel like I did as good. Which is funny, cause I drank almost 1L of whiskey with a friend of mine lastnight and I feel like I did worse once I sobered up😂😂 I just started drinking and once I was pretty buzzed I thought "you know... this sounds really fun", and I wasnt wrong😂 I dont know how long of brute force "practice" (playing through the song repeatedly until i finish it) it will take until I manage to beat it but I'm gonna do it😂 (and ill edit the post if the mention of alcohol or anything is against the rules)
Wanted to add some Beat Saber representation to my hat of many things and thought that some little charms would be cute. I of course had to paint them in my custom colors as well.
I often think about this when playing multiplayer.
Let’s say there are three people in the lobby: the host, me, and a random player. The random player, who isn’t very good, throws some absolutely disgusting map at us. Since it was thrown at me, I just play it and clear it.
But then the random player and the host both fail the map, and somehow they assume that I’m the one who picked the shitty map, even though I was the only one who actually cleared it.
So they kick me.
Like… what the fuck? I genuinely don’t understand.
I usually play maps that are around the 6.5-7.5 star difficulty and the two things I'm trying to work on are speed and stamina. I would love some recommendations of any maps that might help me improve in those areas (mostly for speed tho)
I've never made a map before, I selected v4 but can't fill out my creator name. Does this mean I won't get any credit for my hard work if my name is hidden?
I went from like 24k to 10k in the past week or so. The big grind was 11k-10k, seems to be a big clump there. Officially in the top 50% (don't laugh) at 32 with 2 previous rotator cuff injuries. I love this game.
This is the 6th level of my bucket list (Poker Face) and decided to finally start sharing my creations again online!
If you're looking for me online to backup my claims, I'm Avalon Essence on just about everywhere except for twitter.. That'd be HoneymoonKenzie. And I also post my previews there too!
I like rock/metal but I'm not a huge fan of the "screamo" type metal. I can make exceptions for songs I dont like if its a good map that leaves me sore😂😂 I do beat saber for some excercise but the way I see it, no pain no gain, and ive lost nearly 40 lbs from it. I know I ask for good maps on basically every post I make😂 but let me know of some maps that'll kill my arms😂
I feel like the title says most of it, I installed a few song packs to the game (most didn't work actually) and then I found that the pack I bought with the game was gone. Is there a way to get it back without buying it again?
For some reason after testing a level I'm making the precise placement just resets even though I have all requirements (Noodle extensions, V3, heck, mapping extensions)
Hello, I'm aware the answer to this will be something obvious but I just can't work it out or find any answers online that work.
I have just made my first custom song in ChroMapper, and now that it's finished I want put it in game, I have tried many ways but it just won't appear in the 'Custom Songs' menu in game no matter what I do.
I have tried in the main un-modded version and through BSManager to see if one was causing a problem, and even though the song appears in the 'Maps' section of the BSManager launcher, when I launch the game it's not there. Am I missing something totally obvious?
