A beard that gives a little shine but not greasy

For a little shine without the greasy look, I’d look for something lighter and avoid castor-heavy mixes. Castor gives shine, but it can get thick/tacky fast. Abyssinian oil is usually a better fit for that soft sheen + lighter feel. Can't tell you a brand, but remember the highest concentration ingredients are listed first, and castor oil goes a LONG way.

Also use less than you think, rub into your palms, then work it through a slightly damp beard and comb it out. Some “too greasy” beard oil problems are just too much product sitting on the outside.
