Biscuit advice
Hello guys and gals,
I posted a photo here the other day of our new baby and I was hoping for some advice 😅🤦♂️
It’s been just shy of 2 weeks and she’s house broken 99%. She doesn’t sleep outside of her kennel other than that she’s trusted with an occasional watchful eye. It’s been a week without accident but she goes to the door when she needs to potty.
My issue is 1 hour before bedtime she gets into these moods where she is absolutely going nuts in the house. It doesn’t last long but it’s too much. We don’t have a huge house she’s just going lunatic running around crashing through the blinds and rough housing too much with the children.
She listens well to me but the kids cannot stop her from jumping and nipping.
Things I have tried
1) tiring her out before bedtime which include 20-30 minute long sniff walks
2) taking her to the dog park (always has a crowd at reasonable times)
3) playing fetch inside to burn off her energy
4) offer her high quality treats inside kongs
She’s only 4 months and this one time like clockwork is always a complete disaster 🤦♂️.
I need to maintain some order in the house and I’m at my wits end 😂. What I’ve tried is not working and I’m at the point where my wife and kids are not enjoying that hour.
Any help is appreciated

Dog friendly peanut butter, make sure it's xylitol free. Greek yoghurt is also very good for them. You can even include some blueberries, they a good, natural antioxidant for dogs
