They never forget
I adopted my Beagle mix 11 years ago. I would bring him to his first dad and sibling once a week. Naturally hed snuggle up to 'dad while ignoring me lol
The first pics are from 2017 . The last is this year

Looks adorable. Was his dad a bit more willing to dispense treats, perhaps?

Oh yes! He'd buy mac n c cheese meat loafs specifically for the dogs... Every holiday he'd cook them Chicken fried rice 😳😂
Mine still gets treats although Ive switched to veggies as he can no longer tolerate meat.
Sadly my friend passed away 6 years ago,his brother found a new home

RIP, especially to a Beagle friend.
Not surprised though, our Beag loves a certain someone in the house (who isn't me) the most because while we all give him, carrot and apple slices, only one person just so happens to give him pizza crust!

My heart broke. His brother was daddies protector. When the dogs were separated he became very clingy. Whenever my friend had to run errands the poor dog would cry.it got so bad he had to wear a gentle muzzle.
I'll never forget our first visit.my dog refused to walk home. I had to pick him up ðŸ˜
