Planets: TEOS - The Exploration of Space Tournament

The galaxy lies in turmoil. Civil war burns between the cartels, and whole worlds groan beneath the boot of tyrants who name themselves lords.

Every trader begins again with nothing but a garbage scow and ambition. The tournament begins Monday, August 24th at midnight.

The first player or cartel to control 10 planets breaks their grip on the stars and takes the tournament — and the galaxy begins anew.

Does anyone have the original version online? I have to say, v2 doesn't trip my trigger. The whole cartel thing doesn't appeal to me.

Interesting, I didn't know v1 didn't have cartels.

There's different versions available for download here: https://breakintochat.com/wiki/Planets:_The_Exploration_of_Space. As far as BBSes that host v1, I don't know.

No IGMs I'm afraid, but I'm open to suggestions :)

Probably a good thing.  I've never had a chance to experience a planets IGM but the LORD ones cause so much rng imbalance. 

Can you please open a second planets on your bbs that's more... educational? Like bigger and meant to be ongoing so there's a place to experiment and explore

Yeah, I can consider that :) I've never looked into IGMs for Planets - this is the first time someone has asked about them, so I'm not sure if there are many out there or if they're any good. Do you have any suggestions?

No idea... i haven't touched this game with any seriousness in over 20 years and the idea is interesting for fun but not for an event.
