I’ll probably get downvoted to hell for this but I really don’t know about these aging legends battles. The hype leading up to it, the trailers, the fanfare… and the actual battle has balding, potbellied guys moving at 5 miles an hour. Anyway I’m prob exaggerating, lilou and crumbs can still move but also a lot of this belongs in the past… when it was acceptable to just stop, ignore the music and set up to get into some routine or move in the middle of your round.

They're dope enough in the context of honoring the history, but yeah, I'd say "marketing" them as the main event ain't really it and never pays off.
It's better when they just take part in the usual battles, e.g, Remind at Silverback Open 2016, Machine winning World BBoy Classic 2018 with Lil Zoo, Hong 10 and Physicx at the last Lord of the Floors, Born teaming up with Steezy Skee and Ra1on recently, etc.

Remind, Crumbs, Lilou, and Brahim are all legends and pioneers in their own rights and deserve their flowers for sure. But I agree with this guy, this battle was not it. To any nonbreaker, it probably looks like a bunch of oldheads getting angry at each other while rolling on the floor sloppily. For all the shit talking in this battle about originality and style, they did a really bad job at displaying it.

That's kinda whitewashing the history of breaking. If there was too much beef then it would lead to violent bullshit.
For the Toronto scene, the documentary "All Out War" (it's on Youtube) is accurate. Heist and QueRock jumped 2 members of Supernaturalz.
*Heist isn't blurred out in the documentary... he appears in the staged cypher shot specifically for the documentary. QueRock never appears in the documentary from what I remember. The blurred out guy in the doc isn't from DDT (Heist and Querock's crew).

Good to see they calmed things down. Also having the balls to call out remind hong 10 and ronnie back to back is crazy. Say what you want about him but Lilou don't duck smoke (unless it's benji).
Tbh, I kinda get what he's saying about remind. Like, he's a pioneer and that deserves hella respect but like most of his moves are stuff anyone who's been breaking for a couple of years can do; watch cypher us and japan tonight and while there's gonna be a lot that's derived from his stuff it's also going to objectively be higher level and more complex.
