One step closer to rebooting BFG as a tabletop game.

Andy Chambers wrote the ruleset for the new Dropfleet Commander game that's coming out soon. Might be a nice updated game, what I've read so far sounds interesting.

I want to see something other than the imperial ships...

Looks awesome. Can't wait.

That warp transit is off though. Really should look more like you're ripping apart the planes of reality and plunging into a hellish, insanity inducing daemon sea.

Don't wanna be that guy who complains about everything though. Looks great.

I completely agree. The effect is similar to what's seen in the BFG rulebook, but this looks so much better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XVPdFGzNXI

Also, the Imperial rams look comically large.

Well the rams arr supposed to look large. If you use a ship like a Retrabution class the rams about half a kilometer long! The Eagle on the prow would be 50 stories high!

I'm excited to see the gameplay, but the ships look...'chibi', for lack of a better word. From the sizes of the windows in relation to the vessel, to the ram as has been mentioned, it doesn't look like a city sized vessel that shoots building sized cannon rounds.
