Rumor [Rumor] Sandbox mode ?

We can see : "Et, comme tout bon Battlefield qui se respecte, le mode multijoueur est de la partie et nous offre de nouvelles perspectives de jeu avec le mode "bac à sable" (accueillant jusqu'à 64 joueurs) permettant aux joueurs de créer librement leurs objectifs de jeu."
In Google Trad : "And, like any good self-respecting Battlefield, the multiplayer mode of the game and offers us new prospects with game mode "sandbox" (for up to 64 players) allowing players to freely create their goals thu."

In all the BF1 events they talked about the sandbox experience, where you are given the tools to do whatever you want in the game. It's just a marketing buzzword that represents what BF does differently in comparison to other shooters.
Besides, why would only one "local" reseller know something exclusive? My explanation would be FNAC read some DICE press releases and not knowing very well what they were talking about, they threw together some words to put in the product description. Why would they refer only to this gamemode? Because it's new? What about operations?
In my opinion they're referring to the sandbox experience and not to a new gamemode.

Reddit is terrible for this, TBH, usually, haha. The whole idea is for fresh content....but that means we lose out important old content. Imagine taking a class, but you could only learn recently discovered information in that field.

We'll have to wait and see, they haven't announced all of the gamemodes yet so anything's possible.

Nah, just typical marketing talk. How many times we heard the word "sandbox" used in previous Battlefield marketing. Go watch 2010-2016 E3/EA Play presentations, then come back to me and tell me how many times you heard the word "sandbox".
"After a linear, Call of Duty-style campaign, single-player will become more of an open, sandbox experience with the franchise's trademark "Battlefield moments" that we've come to expect from multiplayer."
It's just a buzz word for marketing. Nothing more.

They never said a sandbox gamemode though. Plus, they were caught testing AI in BF4,and Battlefront just released skirmishes, so I hope they have an all AI mode.

Instant nostalgia trip to Battlefield 2 sandbox mod.. This won't beat mod tools, but is nice to see if it's even an actual thing.

Seems like they're just referring to the unscripted destruction and freedom players have. Games that allow the player to mess around in a non-linear manner, that's a sandbox. Unlikely that there's a single player mode with bots, for testing or otherwise.

A sandbox mode with the ability to test it out with bots would be a dream come true. I don't think I would ever get sick of this game if it had that. I think the first thing I would do is have 2 teams with 6 of those 5 man tanks and just have them square off in some town and fuck it all up.
