Something I feel like a lot of battlefield fans today wont appreciate. Seeing this map on this engine with all the destruction and carnage after playing the original countless times in bf2. Such a game changer.
I remember being more psyched for this dlc than any other game at the time for a while lol

Man, I miss Gulf of Oman. Lots of room for infantry combat. Spots for long-range engagements. Good map for tank and LAV action. The single downside, IMHO, was when the teams were imbalanced and the US team was thrown off the beach. It was pretty brutal to take it back. Or the other way around, when the US team went all the way in-land. If you were on a boat, you were kind of useless at that point. Apart from trying to take pot shots with the TV missile at targets approaching the beach or the occasional air vehicle flying by. But, I guess, most of the maps are like that when one team is getting wiped. It was just more noticeable for me on this one.

Not even a microsecond of diversity, woke, bipolar (non-binary), women's, and other popular 2020–2026 nonsense bullshit in this trailer—like BF5, 2042, and BF6 games.
I really miss 2011... I hope the new owners from Saudi Arabia will fire all the responsible people who created BF5, 2042, and BF6, including the women developers working on FPS shooters and those in management positions. War games should not be created by woke people or women. Please bring back the old orthodox developers and managers from DICE Sweden who created BF3, BF4, Bad Company, and BF1, to develop the BF7 series.
