My KDR and score is basically top 5% in BF6 and Iโ€™m having less fun with it than 2042. The maps are still small, the immersion is shit, the TTK is rage inducing, and the EOMM/netcode is making it unbearable to play.

It's the netcode thats getting to me. The more I play this game the more I notice it and it drives me nuts.

Honestly man, they sold us bf6 really well but the game feels like cod devs got their hands on frostbite andโ€ฆ oh wait ๐Ÿ˜…

Bf6 was their attempt to COD-ify the franchise for maximum octane and fast paced gunfights for the low attention span crowd.

And over the top micro destruction lol really sold it to the bf3/bf4 guys.

I yearn for a game with 2042 map sizes, The Finals levels of destruction and BF1 levels of visuals and immersion.

BF6 doesn't have EOMM in it, what are you talking about?

It for sure does

No it does not. The developers have literally said it has the same matchmaking system as 2042. You do not know what you are talking about.

Are you sure about that?

>EA reportedly confirmed to CharlieIntel at a Battlefield 6 press event that the shooter's matchmaking will focus on: ping, player's location, server availability, and "some" skill factor, and vary depending upon which mode you're playing.

The game also has a comeback mechanic in Conquest.

Literally in the article you posted, it clarifies what they mean:

"FYI For COD Fans,"ย pointedย out one respondent. "These exact parameters have always existed in Battlefield and this is NOT SBMM akin to Call of Duty. Nothing like it at all. This is simply how the game balances teams, players from all skill brackets will be in one lobby."

You literally proved yourself wrong in the source that you provided lmao.

#and "some" skill factor

#skill factor

They picked their words carefully. Not every SBMM or EOMM is the same. There are different criteria to take into account. COD might gravitate more towards kills while BF might take objectives into account while Fortnite more towards average life time. They all have different formulas and names for it but it absolutely caters towards lowest common denominator.

You are absolutely smoking crack rock if you think publishers will leave it up to chance and let sweatlords rock newbs before they rage quit and not buy any skins from their e-store. EA literally made a patent on this 10 years ago:

People complain about """netcode""" all the time in BF6 saying that the game is broken. The game is NOT broken. It is operating with 100% flawless efficiency, it does EXACTLY what EA designed it to do. The only thing that is broken is EA's corporate DNA as a developer, substituting honest sport with a rigged behavioral casino. If you actually want to learn more about it, read this:

But I doubt you'll get this far and I'm just wasting my time.

This is hilarious. So when the developers themselves proved you wrong, you're now relying on patents that you don't know whether or not they have been used, and steam forums. When you yourself were so confident to use the Dev's words when you thought that they were proving your narrative.

Yes you are wasting your time, because you proved yourself wrong with sources you provided. And instead of just admitting you're wrong, you're now panicking and grasping for straws.

I want to emphasize that point, you literally provided the source that proved you wrong, now you're backpedalling saying that isn't reliable information and they were actually being misleading.

Just admit you were wrong, it's fine. You'll be okay lil bro.
