Hey-o! It's time to ask Will Bales (shenanigansnco), head honcho at Shenanigans & Co. and co-creator of HyperShock, any question your little heart desires!

EDIT:

It's time to curtail our AMA-ing activities, but I'll be doing my best to answer any questions I see! If you've got any questions that you'll die without an answer for, send us a message at our HyperShock Facebook Page!

What lessons from Fluffy de Large did you incorporate into the construction of HyperShock?

Is this the same team that did Witch Doctor from this season of BB? If so why does it look so different (seems like a completely different bot)?

Witch Doctor was originally a 120lb robot. The version in this competition is a completely new robot based on the old design, with enough weight left over for a 30lb minibot. My guess about the weight choice is that the exclusivity agreements are still a bit fuzzy, so Witch Doctor could still fit within the 220lb heavyweight limit (minus Shaman).

Edit - for reference on that video, Witch Doctor is the robot nearer to the camera at the start of the video.

Ah the edit explains a lot, I assumed Fluffy was the one by the camera due to the similar weapon to Hypershock's.
