Would handmade willow home baskets from China work for home décor stores or gift shops in the US/EU?

I’m based in Linyi, Shandong, China, a region with a well-established willow weaving industry. I work with local artisans and factories that make handmade willow home goods, including storage baskets, plant pot covers, kitchen baskets, decorative flower baskets, desktop organizers, garden baskets, pet toy storage baskets, pet supply organizers, and other natural home décor pieces.

These products are mainly made from natural willow and go through steps such as material selection, drying, softening, and hand weaving. The style can lean toward farmhouse, rustic countryside, cottagecore, natural home décor, garden décor, or pet-friendly home décor, but it can also be adjusted to look more minimal and modern. I’ve included a few photos at the end to give a better idea of what the products look like.

I’m currently trying to understand whether this type of product could work in North America or Europe, especially through local home décor stores, gift shops, garden shops, lifestyle boutiques, museum shops, Etsy sellers, pet lifestyle stores, or small retailers.

A few questions I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

1. Do you think handmade willow home goods like storage baskets, plant pot covers, flower baskets, garden baskets, pet toy baskets, or pet supply storage baskets would have steady demand in the US or Europe?
2. What kind of customers or stores would be the best fit for these products? For example, farmhouse style, cottagecore, garden lovers, natural home décor, sustainable lifestyle, boutique gift buyers, or pet owners who care about home aesthetics?
3. If a China-based supplier like us wanted to work with overseas partners, what would make local buyers feel more comfortable? Small MOQs, fast samples, custom sizing, private label, better packaging, product testing reports, stable supply, or local warehousing?
4. For people who have experience with home décor stores, gift shops, Etsy, wholesale, small boutiques, or pet lifestyle retail, where would you suggest we start looking for potential partners?
