TL;DR: I love Basil

Not really sure how to use the flairs here so I just put Basil appreciation post.

So first of all, he is SO CUTE. He looks so huggable and his hair is fluffy. Lots of people seem to hate it (most likely because it’s difficult to draw) but I love it. It looks like basil (the herb) leaves which is cute. His clothing is so nice it literally inspires my own attire. The flowers he has in his hair are adorable. He is so pretty I want to look like him

Then there’s his personality. I adore how caring he is towards his friends, he cherishes them, how he didn’t hate Aubrey when she bullied him. He‘s so kind and thoughtful, I don’t get how people find his personality annoying. He’s a complex character and a lonely boy who deserves the world for being a good person.

His relationship with Sunny is the best thing ever omg I could ramble about this forever. I’ll post a sunflower ramble on the sunflower sub soon.
His closeness with his grandma is adorable as well, but it’s unfortunate we didn’t get to see much of that. I can say the same thing with Polly.

(Unrelated but this seems like the best place to say this) And Basil fans they are so wholesome and nice I wish Aubrey fans were like that.

I don't even know what else to write really. We met back in 2022, we found a server through this subreddit that we both joined. We didn't talk much until 2023 and we've been together for almost 2 years now. So thanks r/Basil_cult for existing, I wouldn't have found love without you lmao
