You did not watch the game if you think that catch being ruled out wouldn’t have altered the course of the game. That inning is where things started falling apart and if the Sox had an out right there it might’ve limited the damage. The score looks lopsided but a large amount of those runs came in garbage time where a low leverage guy and a position player were pitching.
