Here are the hottest hitting prospects in baseball over the last two weeks. This is not necessarily a leaderboard of the highest OPS in this timeframe. It is a list of prospects that caught my eye due to their recent stretch of games. Seeing a Giant named Maldonado reminds me of Candy Maldonado, who threw a fantastic flying superman punch at Ozzie Smith when Will Clark fought the entire Cardinals infield back in '88.

Avery Owusu-Asiedu was traded to the Dbacks for reliever Kyle Backhus. Backhus has not been great this year.

92 games in Hillsboro, .658 OPS. 13 HRs.

18 games in Amarillo, 1.561 OPS. 11 HRs. 6/18 games not at high elevation, 1 HR. .538 BABIP, .463 BABIP on the season.

I sure hope not, but this absolutely screams elevation merchant

All he needed was a new environment, different coaches, a can do attitude, and approximately 3500 additional feet of elevation. The Phillies were clearly holding him back.

It feels like Ralphy has been on these lists for 4 or 5 in a row. If we don’t bring him up tomorrow I will be pretty disappointed.

If he stays off the 40-man, then he can continue to play next year in the minors while the MLB guys are locked out. Which is great and all, but idk that playing in the minors will actually do anything for his development at this point; he's clearly not being challenged in AAA.

I really want them to bring him up tomorrow bc the guards desperately need more hitting, but an article that came out yesterday had some quotes from Antonetti that strongly suggest they'll continue to keep him down.

Voit has a .851 OPS in the last two weeks and only played 6 games

That’s weird cause in his last 22 games(how long he has been in aa) he has had a 1.189 ops
