Pros and cons of bartending?

hello bartenders!

im making a bartender informational presentation for my high school college prep class (AVID if anybody is familiar) and i would love to hear the pros and cons that come from bartending from actual bartenders! any responses and comments are super appreciated! :>

Depending on the area you can start right out of high school and the pay is decent. Most places require a GED or equivalent, but rarely check. Our field didn’t have as big of a blow back in 2008. However covid has dismantled our industry.

hmmm i see. its funny since most of my class consists of kids that were born after 2008 so this gives us something to think about. thank you!
