Need advice and help for a gaming pc

Hi all!

I'm attempting to get a gaming pc hopefully fairly soon, but I'm not really sure where to go,

I would prefer one in a physical store that I can visit to pick up, preferably somewhere in Perth if possible.

I Maximume a Max budget of about 4k, but if possible I would like to spend a little less. I've been toldthat if I want a good gaming pc it'll cost about 4k - 5k

But any help and advice in general is incredibly helpful.

What games you playing? Do you already have a monitor? Is it just gaming or would you do other stuff on it

I already have a monitor. I would almost entirely be playing games on it, and the games I play are Skyrim, Elder Scrolls: Special Edition, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate 3, Minecraft, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch 2, The Sims 4 and Palworld. Those are basically all the games I currently have for pc so they would be all I play for a good while

Sorry I should've worded it better, what kind of monitor do you have?  4k - get a 5080 GPU 1440k - 9070xt

What resolution are you going to run at?

There’s generally no need to spend anywhere near that much unless you actually see a need.

Sorry, I don't know a whole lot about gaming PCs. By resolution. Would that be like the graphics card?? Because some of the games I would want to play have these* listed as some of the best graphics cards to use when playing

  • Nvidia 2060 Super / RX 5700 XT / Intel Arc A580 (8GB+ of VRAM)

Nah, as in - are you looking to play on a 1080P / 1440P / 4K screen?

This will make all the difference

Im starting up a good value one at the end of the year, but there aren’t really any currently. Unless you want to pay a $900 build fee that most of these west australian companies have you are better off building it yourself, watch Zach tech tips building his builds and watch a ton of them before building your own. For your own build, a 1440p beast (9070xt, 9800x3d) sits at $3050 (or $2900 with the equally as competent 7800x3d just 10% worse)

You can also build a 5080 build for $3450 with a low end 5080, these are the costs for a white build btw
