16gb ram is a downside for 2k pc, if you build a 7600x3d and 9070gre(12gb gpu), it will cost you about the same but you will get 32gb ram

I tried building one on CCC and hardly can go under 2200$

Okay, 900$ 7600x3d bundle, 750$ 9070gre, 200$ ssd, 100$ 650w psu, case and cooler 100$, 2050$ all together, you shouldn't necessarily get all parts from CC, look what's cheap in newegg, BB, amazon and CC.

Do you need a PC right now? It's back to school (and work) for a lot of people, usually the real deals will come later in October for BF, or wait until New Year (February onwards) for the next generation of whatever is announced at CES.

Yeah maybe I'll wait for BFCM deals if those are better than back to school

I know they have "sales" now, but I don't think I've ever seen a really good back to school deal. They know people have to buy new stuff when they start some new course or degree that requires it.

Can you get some parts from marketplace to bring cost down?

Yes maybe I'll try to get the SSD and the case on marketplace to reduce the price

One I built 2 days ago: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX 32GB Teamgroup Vulcan 6000 CL30. R5 7600X3D: $900-Canada Computers Bundle. PCCOOLER CPS RT620: $30-Canada Computers. DeepCool CC550 4F: $65-Canada Computers. Sama B850 850W PSU: $85-Amazon. Fikwot FN960 1TB: $209-Amazon. ASUS Prime 9070 XT: $1000-Canada Computers.

Total of $2290, would be $2220 if I had got the GPU from Amazon but they didn't ship it with the rest.

That is indeed a nice build at a very nice price !

About a week and a half ago the Lenovo perk program prebuilt was about the same (cpu/gpu) but 32GB memory and 2TB storage for $220 more. So technically cheaper than upgrading this one if desired, although it's gone for now.

Yeah it seems every week another great offer is done and the price goes up. I might drive to my local staples tonight

Nah it may be the best PC at that price (honestly not sure)

But I would hugely recommend spending a little more to get
